44 today (August 16, 1962).
I remember:
- When Cuba really was a threat.
- The Vietnam War.
- Watching Star Trek in black and white.
- Janis Joplin *and* Jimi Hendrix alive.
- The Day the Beatles Announced their breakup.
- Barbara Frum on As It Happens.
- Richard Nixon's trip to China.
- Watching a moon landing at school on tv.
- cars without seatbelts (really. it's true. ask your parents.)
- dinosaurs ruled the earth.
(okay. that last one I really don't remember.)

Well, this has been the Best Birthday Ever. Thanks to all who sent good wishes, and to the guy who podkilled me.
I'll sleep well, and begin my 45th year in the morning.
Yoda, I'll never catch up. But I'm glad to have a guy like you on point.

Don't worry your not that old, and I can remember all of these things as well and could add a few:
- 3 channels on the TV and if the president was on you were screwed.
- Tie dye shirts when they first came out.
- Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd (original) in concert in person
- I'm a doctor not a brick layer
- Flying cars, really we were supposed to have them by now weren't we?
- Punch cards to run computers, and how cool it was to have 64 BYTES of Ram and a 10 meg hard card on my PC.
- Too much more 
But one thing I can say is your still older then me!
(Maybe Fix should change it's tag to the old farts club)
