Diary of a Trapped Geddon, Day 6

They say if life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

My bucket of lemons are no longer fresh. They have been slowly dehydrating in the refrigerator which is the cold steel coffin of my Armageddon. It feels like the crisper drawer in King Tut's fridge. My lips grow chapped, my stock of Large Crates of Spirits is running dry, my Fedo is defecatng on the Tourists. Soon I shall have to resort to eating Long Limbed Roes.

I got my bucket of lemons by rolling my wormhole. I had recently lost the predecessor to SS Will Pay For Exit, thanks to some Low Class thugs and spotty intel. I had purchased my current Geddon of a man in Dodixie. He had chest hair with a thick gold chain dangling in it, gold teeth, and smelled of Quafe. He promised me it had never been in a crash, low mileage. I suspect I was lied to about its mass, he said one number, but it mustn't have been true, because I got trapped out.

i had prepared myself for this eventuality. In my hold I have probes, a depot, scanning modules. A partial refit, including a couple of stabs and a nano. I was prepared like a Boy Scout. Except, of course, the probe launcher. A bit vital. Instead of that, a bucket of lemons.

Nevertheless, I do my daily drive by of the foe's POS architecture in my pod. I leave my Geddon to stretch my legs, at the sun. perhaps someone will nick it, but I do not care. I note that the foe have put fuel into the last small tower, for it has Teh Bubblez. It is online. this is supposed to deter me? My dear booys, you should have at least used one of the spare hardeners from your large tower to fill that EM hole.

I put on my comfy slippers, launch my Curator II's and spend 3.5 hours shooting it while watching re-runs of everybody's favorite sitcom, Roseanne.

I get interrupted at 48% shield, when one of the local signs in and drops a Chimeera on the POS. He reps the POS and deploys fighters. I immediately drop my bowl of Long Limbed Roes and scuttle off to my safespot and sign out.

Is that what we have come to? i think. I wonder if anyone would have their interest piqued, to know I had the magic to summon the Chimera?

i sign in later, and discover he is lazy. The POS is at 63% shield, so i start again. I am on Season 2 of Roseanne when the POS enters reinforcement. It will come out at 2 a.m. Kamchatka time. On a school night.

We shall see, Yuri, whose time zone reigns supreme.
