Originally by: Captain Thunk This is a serious question, I am not an alt and I am not trolling.
I'm just asking because I've noticed that BoBs overall aim seems to have changed over the last few weeks - it could be just that you're aiming for a more realistic goal than the one sir molle initially stated - it is rather difficult to convince 2000+ players to cancel their subscriptions afterall.
But I was looking at BoBs killboard yesterday and I happened to notice that for the first time that I've seen BoB lost more Battleships(11) than it destroyed(8) - perhaps a simple blip in the graph, but because of the timing I was just wondering if the ending of the Goonicide campaign is connected with wanting to stop shooting an endless supply of frigates day after day and take on people who are actually competing against you?
Serious question - just interested if you can or will give any insight that's all. As BoB is the top alliance in the game it's only natural you will receive more questions than anyone else.

It is not special that BoB loses more then they win. I am sure that happens from time to time, but it did not at all versus the goons. I don't think that BoBs strengh is sick kill ratios, but the ability to replace their ships and field skilled pilots in higher numbers then others. BoB shoot with the same ammo everybody else does they are not some kind of eve gods. They also never claimed to be as far as i read.

Well Looking at those stats they can pull out of syndicate without a bad taste in thier mnouths, so it is probably a good time to do so. The stats are really impressive and with those stats backing it up they can go to other things, whatever that might be.
Whatever BoB called their goal with those stats there is no ground for claiming they did not achieve what they wanted to do. Apparently their OBJECTIVE is achieved, and while their goal is not yet they wont gain anything towards that goal by continuing it. My guess would be that they are hoping for the goons to rebuild to crush them again, wich would probably be even worse for the goons morale then being camped 23/7. Letting them "rebuild" while always threatening a new attack is probably the most efficient way to "end" this.
Basically the goons can't do anything without knowing that it will be destroyed again, wich isn't really a good base for building up anything with an alliance.

BoB probably receive as much asskissing as they receive trashtalk so i don't think it is unweightened. I remember a lot of people talking positivly about your guys fighting the goons so i don't get where you are coming from. Maybe you should stock up on your PR department and polarise more if you desperatly want more attention =p (although attention is rarely good in eve)
