The journey would take several hours at least, and so i said to myself id just lie down and rest my eyes. Next thing I know its the next morning, and im in a station, in a new clone!

I glanced back round a few minutes later to see the red glow of nos on my screen, folowed by me realizing i was under attack. I started to laugh as I thought the rupture attacking me was about to get Concorded. It was then I realized my autopilot had taken me back into 0.0 I put on my rep and AB and some how tanked this ruppy while i got to the gate and jumped... Lesson? never ever trust the autopilot. -----

I had forgotten to set safe on AP and got podded in Vecaima or some such :). Second and slightly more painful one was in C9N one night we had a report of a Xenobytes gang incoming decided to sit outside the station in order to bait with my Apoc Creamster warped in in a thorax and started agroing me then moved away to about 60k I knew there were about 5 or so more but was within docking range of the station so thought I was fine. I released my sentry drones forgeting ofc that they would agro creamster even though I didn't ask them to fire and creamster started moving towards me I remember stupidly wondering why his shield was going down and then ofc the rest of the gang warped in and I was stuffed, one Apoc down the pan and one slightly ****ed off and embaressed me

Mate comes through from the kitchen and looks at me. "Whats your short cut for autopilot?" i ask "5th mouse button." "ah."

So we get call to regroup at ss in next system and see what we gonna do. So I enter the system, warp to the dude at safespot and run like hell to toilet. So I'm sitting there and hear those faint noises coming out of my headphones in the next room, but Im not bothered. When I got back to my PC I see the screen shaking as my megathron is about to explode. I manage to run to the keyboard just in time to warp my pod away. It turns out I warped to the safespot with my autopilot on and left the PC, so my ship arrived to safespot, aligned itself and warped off to the gate. I managed to afk to 2 systems ahead before getting blown up by angry CA. Oh and that noise I heard earlier? That was our gang yelling and asking where the hell I was going on teamspeak. Aftermath was something like: Me: wtf I'm dead? Gang: yeah, no ****! ---

I was flying it down from empire to 0.0 with some skill books and such... and I remembered that I had to change a skill on another account, so I safespotted and cloaked thinking I'd be safe. So, my alt happened to be in the same system as my main's clone was... So all of the sudden, I wondered 'wait... why am I in local... oh.." Turns out I forgot to turn autopilot off D'oh
