The time/resources involved would probably run as much. You need to find where he operates and what he does (locator agents +scouting) and assuming he doesn't fly around in a pod all the time, you'll need to use at least 2 accounts in hisec: one to kill his ship and another to smartbomb his pod. For the amount of time and effort involved in finding, killing, and podding a particular player, 300 million amounts to less than the eve equivalent of minimum wage.

Take this thread as an example. I might be inclined to go after him if the reward was 2-3 bil, but as has been correctly pointed out: you have no guarantee of a deal not taking place between a would be hunter and the mark.

So for instance Bastion Arzi could offer a 2 billion bounty to be collectable only by particular interested parties, say La Nariz and Jonah or whoever. That might be enough incentive for someone to make the attempt. A deal is less likely to happen as, realistically, there isn't much point in paying chribba 1 bil or w/e his rate is on a 2 bil bounty. Still kinda pointless though.

Eh, you're both wrong. About Nulli? Pretty sure they're going to feel the pinch once NC abandons them and they don't have bottomless supercap support. They've historically lost most of the subcap engagements in the last few wars, too. Although what the Russians are up to is anyone's guess. The russians, what's left of their fragmented entities anyway, are aiming for catch. Hence the buildup and ceasefire of hero/provi and a move toward similar mainline doctrines. Nulli has held space longer than most of the people posting in this thread have been playing eve, and has plenty of allies. If you're getting that bit of intel from The Mittani's recent article on his website, consider that some of his info on alliances being alone and without allies: Quote: alliances like Nulli Secunda, Kadeshi, Gentlemen's Club and The Unthinkables find themselves standing alone for the first time in their history. Is woefully inaccurate. The Kadeshi, for example, have currently taken half of delve, and not alone either. Whether deliberately or in genuine error, much of the "intel" in that article was wrong. I also happen to know moa's plans for the near future, and don't believe that will end particularly well given that I also know where the bulk of goon supers are currently staged. So yeah, both of you are wrong.

I, for one, look forward to seeing more quality veers threads on GD. They make for excellent entertainment.

E: The thread in my sig is a great example, ISDs, CSMs and I vaguely remember CCP in it. All for discussion while the ISDs discussed and moderated. The CSM posts in your thread are far less entertaining then the csm posts in Veer's thread. Like the ones from Mynna that I linked. Or Sion's posts. Truly, your CSM representatives went straight to the heart of the matter quickly and effectively. No, Veers definitely wins this one. His thread is better.
