You know that eventhough you just ruin a persons gaming expirience you will feel no personal vendetta from this person as the internet offers you compleet anonimity. So what is there for vallistix to do? Sure he could get another ship and come pod you...provided he wins the fight...but then it wont matter cause he will have technically destroyed his own money...not yours. So basically there is nothing Vallistix can do to even the score with you. You know this and that is why you are a coward :) Ballistix: shame on you for falling for this. It's the exact same things as what Zombie did, you may not attack in "safe-areas" (empire/within sentry range) without loosing your ship.

I am going to telephone CCP tomorrow and try and have an objective discussion with them about it. TBH, I fell for it, my loss. But it simply has to stop for others. If they can't see it, and the fact that I have here a complete record...and saved of him saying what he has done is beyond a joke. They simply must do something about it. None-the-less. It is a sad state that it comes to people making money out of others in such a way. I still have, and will for the next 20 hrs have an unbroken package sitting in my account. I am going to take them all the way through the process, and although I was nieve it is there for them to see. This prologue, a package that for which the courier system has been abused. Lets hope they see sense... B

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I've never run a courier mission. I heard someone talking about this situation, same guy. The impression I got was that they got their money back, but they ended up doing a courier mission for no reward, and didn't get the ship they wanted. Kats	Posted - 2003.10.13 10:11:00 - [52] I have spoken to Ballistix by evemail; there is sometimes a way aroung this problem, but I would rather Nightfang did not find out about it. Contact me in-game if this scammer has hit you in this way (he nearly took me for 75 Mill). I have been through the same roller coaster of post-scam emotions as Ballistix; had I not defeated nightfangs scam, I would probably have left the game, rather than lose so much ground with a multi-million isk loss. Other posters would not be supporting / sympathetic to this scam merchant, if it was their isk being affected. Nightfang is exploiting a loophole which I hope Devs will soon close. Until then be careful out there people, and only use trade windows.
