Been afk for the better part of 6 months, but truth be told Ive not played seriously for well over a year now. Likelihood is I probably wont either, I have a pretty full on day job and often haven to work evenings etc, so I have no illusions about putting in the hours i may have done 5+ years ago.
I started playing this game in 2005, so coming up to my ten year anniversary. Ive done various things, but probably spent most of that time in nullsec in one form or another. This is, obviously, my original main. I have a JF sidekick that comes with me.
Reason for coming back; I've heard there are some pretty cool changes afoot, so thought I would give it a go. Ill be mainly a weekend player, perhaps the odd hour or two in the week here and there.
My requirements.
Highly skilled. You must have a player-base of experienced, skilled players- ideally the average pilot sp should be upwards of 60-80m minimum - as picky or harsh as it may sound, what precious hours I may have to play this game I do not want to spend dying in a fire because someone next to me is doing something basic for the first time- ie, no liabilities please. If this is not you, please do not waste my time or yours, so no start-ups etc. Age is less of an issue, but I'm in my late 20's, so like-minded/similarly aged would be preferable.
Highly active. If I log in, it will be because I want to go fly a spaceship and hopefully shoot something, not because I want to spin my ship etc.. My activity time will be week nights between 20:00-00:00 Eve and weekends, if this isn't your prime time, again, please don't waste my time or yours- and im not looking for corps trying to expand their EU time base, I'm looking for an established, primarily EU tz corp.
Location. Im looking for Null primarily, but would be open to the prospect of *some* lowsec, depending on your core activities. Im negten, so if you spend time hopping about in high sec im obviously not going to have a good time.
Affluent. No poors or wannabe j*ws please. I made my money in this game a long time ago, I have enough ISK to do pretty much whatever I want forever- so I don't have a huge amount of interest in corps full of people who spend their time ratting (and usually by definition fail dying to actual pvpers).
Communication. TS/Vent/Jabber or whatever you use, needs to be a law in stone - I like to be able to talk to people Im playing with, it doesn't really work for me without that. So no corps where 10% sit in an afk channel, the other 10% never logon and the remainder 80% dont even have the software installed.
No uptights. I spend my day in a pretty political and corporate environment where I need to be particularly vigilant of what I say and how I say it. If I fancy making a few d*ck jokes when I come online I don't want someone getting upset because I said a bad word- if you're easily offended or have rules about 'no trolling' etc then I'm already not interested.
Sov. Im not opposed to the whole sov thing, I dont mind it. Its good to have a home, right- but also don't want to find myself buried in the depths of some giant blueball where it takes half a day to reach the nearest target either. If you feel your corp has a happy medium/balance going on in this regard, great.
Caps. Dreads; yes please. Carriers; sure. Don't do supercaps. If you spend all your time hot dropping in supers I wont be taking part and ill probably leave due to boredom.
Alliances. Yep, that's cool. Always been part of the bigger alliance things so no worries there. But, equally, not a prerequisite.
Finally, if you copy/paste your recruitment splurge onto my thread I will take personal offence and needless to say, you wont be hearing from me.
