It might not be solely due to the timezone difference, but RA fielded 13 capital ships to shoot POS during the early mornings (CET time) when most people are at work or at school. There is no way you can counter that unless you also have alot of people online at those hours.
Having people that can play just after downtime and run complexes has probably helped their economy quite alot as well.

Yes, i am complaining
I dont put them up. And its not the allainces fault they use them. CCP put them into the game to b used has there being used now. Which in all honesty ruins 0.0. Theres no fun in a POS war but they r there to b exploited and exploited they shall, intill they r removed.

props to RA getting stuff back; try not to muck up the human resources side of things now that there's something to divide between you, will ya? :) (that would be a bit stale, too)
to ASCN member complaining about POSes - if you don't like them, pull them down, you guys got enough battleships in stock to just bs-zerg any incoming aggression, surely
and whoever mentions timezone card being played by RA - you are wrong. Timezone differences play heavily against RA. Check how many time zones Russia & CIS country cover, and you will get a glimpse of logistical difficulties to organize a decent strike fleet of russian-speaking pilots. To win this part of the war, both in offensive and defensive situations of any real size, alarm clocks have been set and ringing across half the planet for RA pilots, middle of the night for some, run-home-after-work for others.

RA has two big advantages over other alliances in the game: almost their whole alliance is on the same time zone and that time zone happens to be when the majority of EVE isn't playing. Together with very organized POS work (like stocking the stront to bring the POS out of reinforced in their time zone) this lets them outmaneuver other alliances.
Not to downplay their success, in fact I think they've got this all figured out pretty well.
POS warfare still blows though. And it's blindingly obvious Blondy Girl is an RA alt who should have posted with his main...
