Ok folks, time to weigh in. 
After spending several hours on the Test Server with a Naga, as well as with my corp mates with the other new ships...we have come to the conclusion that the suck. No, really. We each got a whip that we fly...Me, the Naga, and with the Amarr and the Galente ship. We shot at each other. I got popped by me ceo with his Galente ship. I then got my Rattlesnake, and shot at both of them, and I popped him. We tried SEVERAL different fits. I have all my shield skills to 5, but i suck at gunnery, I am better at missiles and drones. See, we feel that after testing these, that they are NOT a good PvE ship, or even PvP as they are right now. You would need SEVERAL of these ships to take down a Battleship. So, PLEASE make these a bit better, just turn them into Battleships, and add more things....for the Naga, drones and missiles, and more slots and a better cap and shields. Otherwise, I don't see where these would fit in. I am not complaining, just stating there needs to be something done, in order for these ships to be of any use.  |

One on one fight ? Or a regular FFA brawl ? If it was a FFA brawl, then it shows nothing about how powerfull a ship is or not, because it's not 1vs1 fights.

A Rattlesnake's tank > Every other battleships' tank (Except maybe a true overboosted Bhaalgorn). And it can still deal almost 1k DPS. So sure, you popped them without much troubles.
We tried SEVERAL different fits.
There are two possible fits. Railfit and Blasterfit.

That's what I though. Testing a Zealot with stupidly low skills isn't something you want to do, because it shows nothing about the ship's possibilities.

You're doing something wrong them. You won't win vs a Battleship 1vs1 because the BS have the same firepower you have, but much more tank. Though you can pretty much gank every battleship in the game 3vs1 or even 2vs1 without much troubles.
All in all, I think that those ship will bring true firepower to NanoBCs and other "fastish" gangs. You can bring a Tornado (With 2 nanos) in a Nanohac fleet, it should blend in just fine (Well, it will still be a bit slower, but the x2 HAC firepower will make up for it). |

There are missile PvP boats, as it stands at present we have 2 hybrid boats a laser boat and a projectile boat, really you should have a missile boat in there TBH
Rails are **** anyway and we all know it, caldari won't get a decent blaster boat so we keep getting shafted with rail platforms that can't do any damage at all and are not worth taking :) |

Yes, there are good missile PvP ships, so there's no overwhelming need for any more. On the other hand, there is an overwhelming need for a functioning railgun platform. Several ships contend for that niche, but none command it.
The fact that the other three Tier 3s are all gunboats is no argument for the Naga to be any different. Missiles simply wouldn't have worked in the role. Cruise would be too effective against smaller targets, and torps would have been only used in PvE.
I know rails suck. I've been one of the many people urging CCP Tallest to go further in buffing them. But the Naga is possibly the first dedicated rail platform that actually makes the damn things work. |

Why is every carebear in the world trying to turn the tier 3 battlecruisers meant as fleet dps boats into jew ships? Literally it was said everywhere, these ships will not be tankable and have high dps at the same time. |

You're terrible.
These ships are not built for 1v1 combat. Yes. You need several of them to take down battleships. They're goddamn FLEET DPS SHIPS, not 1v1 powerhouses or PvE ships. I'll be honest, I haven't bothered with a rail Naga because I've never bothered with training Large Railgun Specialization, only blasters. But in the role of a blaster ship, it's actually been rather ok, in my opinion. But I was using it in a fleet, not in a 1v1 fight.
At one time I had a 1v1, Naga (me) versus Talos (old corpmate). Both blaster setups. I got the **** kicked out of me in under fifteen seconds. If you ever manage to get within range of a Talos, you will die, that's almost universal. The Naga is more useful when it's at the edges of it's targets' range, where it'll still do at least 800 DPS IIRC. I did manage to hit the Talos once before I got TD'd, and it took out a vast chunk of his HP; these are not exactly what I'd call survivable 1v1 ships. So please, stop using them like they are and then bawling that they suck at it, because they're not designed for that role.

Yes, I understand that now. After testing them...yes, they suck at 1v1, etc. Yes, I am a carebear, lol. Heck, we're a mining/indy corp, who enjoy going on lv 4 missions. As I said, we were just seeing what they could do. The best one is the Amarr ship...and so, they would be better in a fleet. You get too close, you get popped. Oh well, it will be an expensive ship, that has to stay at long range, and hope someone doesn't alpha you. lol. |

The OP is clueless. This last round of bonuses for the Naga make it absolutely amazing.
You'll see many in fleets and skirmishes. |

This. 1v1 is not the standard for fights, nor should it ever be. A good portion of the fight is determined before you even land on grid in a pvp scenario.
As far as the naga goes, man, that thing is dead sexy and is my favorite of the new tier 3 BCs hands down. |

OP is an idiot. I have perfect rail skills and the Naga PWNS at extreme ranges while still being fast enough to buzz around MWDing so as pro era will have a hard time getting a warp in on you.
You are doing it wrong if you aren't fitting a naga for speed, range and tracking. Range is your tank and you can fit for enough speed and cap so you can still be slippery and get away. I was fighting a Cynabal who was trying to close in on me from 220km. By the time he got close he warped out because then he was structure

Many of the eve posters are assholes, without any fuckin social lives, ignore them as you would **** on the ground.

Let us stack all modules (eliminate repackaging), except damaged ones, give them a red hue/icon.

WTF do you expect posting about how a ship sucks when you don't even have good skills for its weapon system.
I'd call you an idiot IRL as well. Plus you are like the 50th person in this forum to talk about how the Naga should be a missile ship because no Caldari pilot has Hybrid skills. They don't have hybrid skills because they used to suck. Now they are a bit better and on the Naga a very viable weapon. Go train them up. Spice is the flavor of life...
Oh and I don't have a basement in the house that I own. I'm 31 and married with 3 kids. Sorry I'm an ******* I've been playing EVE too long.
