Hey all Just thought we could use 1 thread to add all the bugs were findin with the new patch etc etc & post them here? Be easyer for the Devs to see etc..
So far I have found market prices history is set at 0-5mil repeating its self over & over regardless of item price.

After patching, the login screen crashes to desktop. I've reboot, uninstalled/reinstalled and re-autopatched. All drivers up to date, I reformatted two weeks ago.

1 - The icons in the overview are now faded when the action cannot be applied in the situation, all right, nothing against it but... Some actions are not showed anymore, like WARP TO a can that is more then 150km away, you need to right click (the can in spacea or in the line it is in overview) and chose the action WARP TO from menu.
2 - The old bug of itens moved to a Station Vault being LOCKED, even if that vault is configured to be unlocked happened sometimes, not all times tho.
3 - The different settings for overview I had saved were all gone with the patch.
That's is all for now, need to sleep some before going to work (RL stuff), tommorow, if I find any other thing, I will post here too. Good luck for all.

At least some of you got it far enough to crash.
To start off, I have Windows XP.
I am not able to connect to Tranq. I was not able to connect to test server either after I patched it, but I didn't think anything of it.
Reinstalling EVE did nothing.
Restarting my computer did nothing.
Getting angry did nothing.
I am out of ideas.
When trying to fill out a technical support for I got this message:

Something really bad happened and we are really sorry.
The server was unable to process your request.
Support personel has been notified, no further action is needed.
----
Although is says they have been notified, that is refering to the fact that my petition did not go through. I thought that a petition might work better than reimbursment because it would have a higher priority.
Having to reinstall XP would be problematic, seeing as though I can't seem to be able to find my serial code right now.
Help me O'be Wan Kenobe, you're my only hope.

The Overview Settings have been reset, well i can life with that, but after i made my adjustments to the Overview, the Alliance Ticker in the Overview isnt shown anymore
i have checked it with pilots around me, by checking theyre Info and they definatly were in an Alliance

I lost all my Overview settings in all three of my characters.
All other windows reset to default sizes and positions.
Market won't pull up any items in Browse, and won't pull up any Sellers or Buyers for an item I find using Search.
I'm getting System Error popups.
In the Great Cluster Crash of yesterday (this morning?) I lost a ship I was trying to dock. I ended up in the station without the ship. Not as a pod -- as nothing. I activated a shuttle and went looking, but couldn't find my ship anywhere... not near the station and not near any gate in the system. If it warped away to a safe spot it did so without me and I have no way of finding it. Ship gone, expensive fittings gone, an hour's worth of refined minerals gone. Now I can't fit a borrowed ship to replace it because Market isn't working.
This really sucks. I'm a programmer. If I had done this I'd shoot myself.

What I think you'll find has happened is they had changed [fixed] the R&D window to behave like the market in that the max. range you can now display jobs is the current region.

I had a heart attack this morning when all my R&D had vanished but then I noticed the range option in the interface (in the expanded view) changed to the right region and there they all were.

This is getting really under my skin. Was after some issues able to download the patch and i have the right version installed now 2.13.4557. But, why is there allways a but, when i startup i get an status unknow on the server and cant log. I rebooted, kicked and screamed but nothing helps. Please give me soome suggestions before i get on the next flight to iceland with a smartbomb

Me and my mate can't Patch to the new version, both times it craps out at a Res-something file...
I'm gonna just wait a few days to grab it again and hope it's fixed, otherwise will just re-install all over again. Luckily i got a 3 days skill still training :D

1. Agent offers are broken (at least when using the new german interface).
reproduceable: yes
a) issue: When I double click on an offer in my journal nothing happens.
b) issue: When I talk to the agent about her offer, she says some really wierd things about an exception that occured on the server. The funny thing is, she says it in german (which is btw well translated ).
2. Some minor translation bugs (mission letters and stuff like that). I'm going to compile a list and post it soon(tm).

I've also encountered a problem with the IGB and forms...
My Corporation uses an online database system to manage some of our data, and this requires text input boxes. To get to these forms, you need to log in via the website. Before the patch, this worked fine, you logged in and you can select the form and input the data.
Now since the patch, the only input boxes I can use are for the login page. No other page has them. I find this odd as the login page has the exact same text box system as the rest of the pages. Why does it work for that page and not the others?
Also, the cool IGB forum browser we're using (provided kindly by another player) has the input boxes too, but not certain pages we use in the IGB. Viewing the page source code reveals the code for these boxes, and it's showing up fine...
Ah well, all that hard work for nothing

XP Home
XP Pro
XP Media Center
If you having connection issues with Windows XP, please state the exact version your using. This can be found in your system properites under the General tab.
I can confirm that the patch does work fine on XP Pro, but its not working on XP Media Center. I do not own a XP Home machine so I am unable to test this OS. The connection issues is probbaly due to encription missing with Media Center but is presnet in Home and Pro versions however until more people state exactly what they are usuing it could still be something else.

For connection issues (where you cannot connect to the server)
a ping to the server may be usefull.(would provide the IP but cannot remember it off the top of my head. CHeck your event logs for any reasons why things aren't working. (you never know) Also make sure that your firewall hasn't started blocking the connection from eve as it may do this after the patch.
(They can be a bit twitchy about programs that have just changed)

So far the patch seems to do nicely here, just 1 thing that once again annoys :) When you rename a can, you have to close the overview and open it again to see the name change. This was 'fixed' in the previous patch and now it's back.

using xp home sp2, as soon as i patched today i can no longer load eve i get an error saying ccp blue framework has encountered a problem and such....before patch everything was fine

Lost an uncompleted level 4 courrier mission. It just dissapeared--still had until the 27th to complete. And I have 2 new offers from agents that refuse to display in the journal. However, the third agent offer I have does display.

1. The Max Targeting Range listing on the fitting screen overlaps the word range and the range.
2. Sorting items by quantity turns up some odd results, odd and random so far as I can tell.
3. Loosing overview settings after each patch reminds me of loosing the stars after iTunes patches, annoying but not killer.
4. Show assets is a cool feature but only shows one station per system.
On the plus side everything seems smoother and faster now.....is it the code? fewer people logged in? who knows?
good stuff so far, should stabalize out in a week or so

Im unable to connect to the server at all. Whenever I start EVE, it immediately tells me "Status: unknown" in german: "Status: unbekannt". That is both for Tranquility and Testserver.
upgraded from Win2000 SP2 to Win2000SP4 and did all possible kinds of tricks and tweaks and could not get it to find the server.
Btw, I bought EVE before it was released in germany and only did that because I feared there might be german texts. Now my interface is german >.<

Since the patch, i cant move my just made ships from my
ship assembly arrays at our POS to the ship maintanance
array. It gives me the message: You cant place this ship
in here, since it needs to be assembled.

I turned the firewall completely off, rebooted and it still did not work. It simply seems that the client either has a wrong ServerURL entry or isnŠt trying to connect at all.

I've found how to get around the 'server status: unkown'
With your firewall you need to reset EVE to 'premitted' or whatever right? But its not just the eve.exe that you need to do that with. You have to set ExeFile.exe to allowed as well. This fixed it for me. ExeFile.exe can be found in C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\bin
Only took 2 hours for me to find out...

Can reproduce this easily though I wonder if it is hardware related (however this has never happened to me before the patch!)
Using ATI 9600xt,
Whenever I am about to dock to a station - my graphic card looses signal I get a black screen with the screen starting to blink like if there no signal coming (i.e. computer is shut down) - though the power is still on.
This has happaned 5times in a row now whenever I try to dock.
Steps to reproduce:
Undock
Dock (computer hangs just when it says "being towed in")
Restart comp
Login to eve and youre inside the station
Undock.

This is something I just noticed, I don't know if anyone else has this problem.
When in space, after killing a rat, and you rename the can, it will not update on the overview until you leave the belt and come back, or hit tab 2x to hide and re-open the side overview panel.

2. Wait for the text at the top to be filled in
3. Notice that the last line of said text makes the rest of the window jump down
alternatively
3a. DON'T Notice the window jump down, and end up jumping into the wrong jump-clone :s

You can turn off the Warning Message if you hit escape and look at the first page on the left side. Its one of the lower 4 Checkboxs. This won't fix the error but at least you won't get spammed anymore

You guys have it lucky if your only getting the error every 5 mins. I am getting it every few seconds. I thought it might be sound card related so disabled it and still getting the exceptions.

Setting a default "Warp to" range isn't picked up on the drop-down menu when right-clicking in space.
It will still display warp at 15km, but the overview warp button does pick up the default distance change.

What is this Devs? ... the Cargo loot box has been resized.. & to be honest It looks like sumthing from SPOT THE DOG.. book.. Why did ya make it bigger? Looks more childish the other be4 patch was well better .. what next big massive BLOCK TEXT..

I have tried installing/reinstalling many times...firewall on and off...allowing eve in settings and such.
I am using win xp home sp2 and this is the best i can get too since the latest patch

In reply to the CCS Framework issue, Make sure you are running .NET framework 1.1 or higher... I am running 2.0 just to be safe.. I don't if its just me or not, but when targeting and looking at the damage bar isnt it quite big? Also, I am getting the no sound issue when warping too.

I think they have made a few things in EVE far to big..they were fine be4 the patch..now they just look stupidly big... perhaps they dont look that bad on there 30" dells? ..

Things I've noticed that are broken so far:
The 'wind' sound when warping is missing, but its debatable as to whether that should exist anyway (personally I think it should, warping shouldn't be quiet).
You can't set the default warp to distance to anything other than 15KM.
The agents don't tell you anything about the mission, just moan about an exception, you have to press more detail to see the actual mission.

small bug: im mining and jetcan and i name the can but it doesnt update on your overview so if you name the can it will still be listed as "cargo container"

When moving items into corp member hangers the items don't show up untill you undock then redock at the station (Thaught we'd lost a huge amount of ISK there, but thankfully not)

After the patch I have a sound problem... when the ship start warping and after the warping it decelerate I have no sound....
Anybody encounter this ?

In the people - places box when you move the separators (between the colums for the desctriptions /places /jumps) after you move it (when you move it, its hilighted by a thick white line) , it leaves a verticle white line through the box at the position the separator was at before you moved it..

Apart from raising an eyebrow at the shield/armour/hull damage bars when in combat, I can honestly say that where I am in Empire, there is absolutely nothing wrong at all.
The only [very minor] annoyance is the overview settings being reset to default, but then again, that's no big deal [needed to sort them anyway ]
And no, I'm not telling anyone where I am in Empire. It's lovely there and you're not getting in

Jump Clone Bug!
a few people in my aliance had this problem, cant jump clone from a station you already have a jump clone in, when it asks if you are willing to destroy this clone and you say ok, it does nothing, have to destroy the clone first and themn jump.

After patch my toon that I have been playing for about 1.5 months now is back in tutorial mode. Can't cancel out the tutorial mode nor did unchecking the show tutorials option in generic tab of options do any good. Tried opening each turorial and closing again and choosing the 'do not show again' option to no avail. Oh well, at least i'm able to get in game to keep skills training.
