Actually it would be great if Eve had that command... then people wouldnt even have to come up with their own whine, they could just pick from the default list of (lag/money back/etc). :)

Is there any info on the last patch, especially, why it caused severe server problems that are being fixed with some breaks for 24h already?

Yep, its about time for that scrollbar to show up... I bet it was as simple as setting "scrollable" to true for the listbox... :)

I imagine that they're deploying server fixes for some of the issues that people have mentioned since the system came up last night. So, probably not, as they didn't know what needed fixing last night. They'll have had to generate fixes, which takes time. And the poor sods have only had a few hour's sleep.

Steps for sanity preservation during 'upgrades'.
1. Start very long skill training.
2. Install Freelancer, Starcraft or other single-player game of choice.
3. Stay out of Eve for 4-5 days at least. RMR was more like 3 weeks of complete unplayability.
4. Come back after they solve 50% or so of the problems the 'upgrade' causes.
Please, Sir. May we have another server crash to go along with all the wonderful NEW CONTENT? May we have more LAG? More BUGS? Pretty please with sugar on top? |
