Um, no that's not correct. You're uploading a file from you computer, which you download from the main Eve site. What you get is a simple .xml file which is easily modifiable with Notepad.
I mean, CCP should make an official page on the EVE site, and there's a checkbox in your "My Character" screen on whether you want your character stats publicized or not. I'm not talking about downloading/uploading anything :)

Nice tool, but i have two questions.
1. When you upload the xml file to the site, then you can look on the Ship List, and does that list shows what kind of ships i have had or what ship i have?
2. Well i'm not sure on how this is working, but shouldn't it be cool to have faction ships showed under Ship List. Also i have a Machariel, and if the Ship List shows what kind of ships you have had or have, then i would like to have my Machariel under that list. Or isn't that showed because of security reason?

Great tool looks nice and wroks quite well.
Missing: Rank 5 & 11 skills in the: Top x rank skills.
I would love to see something like this added to the options: Linky (the popup on mouse over is what I mean leaving out the sp/hour calculations maybe  )

I don't believe there are any rank 11 skills in the game.
And, although the number 5 is not included in the list Top Skills in Ranks, the number '6' jumps to a page listing the rank 5 skills.
There is a missing " in the link for rank 5 that is messing the url up.

Hi everyone :)
i wanted to say i'm back in eve, and i'll be compiling a list of new features to be included in a new version of the skills showroom (v3.0) based on all your feedback.
I would also like to thank everyone that emailed me while i was away.
I hadnt had a chance to say this but the number of people using the site is really impressive :)

Hi,
i havent forgotten about all of you :) but i have been busy with alot of projects, havent gotten arround to making the new version, but it's a promise.
Due to the bad performance of ccp's char image server, i made a change and i'm now caching everyones pic for faster display.

Suggestion: on the "Ships & Pilots" page, would it be possible to show the number of pilots for a given ship by the ship's icon? It would give a very quick indication of the most commonly flown and (perhaps more interestingly) least-commonly flown ships in EVE.

I'd still like to see ties ranked as tied, not randomly. (i.e., all the people with maxed learning skills will all be ranked as 3rd.)

- show current skill training
- check that all skills are in database
- check sorting issues
- allow a setting of a password ingame to be used in authentication in the out of game site
- with login allow person to list all the members of his corporation, not shown to everyone to make it harder to find all the members of a corp for security reasons.
- add extra security to upload and setting private, ability to set skill upload only if authenticated
keep them comming :)

It's odd that the top 3 players listed under total skill points in LEARNING have more skill points in that category than it is possible to get.

There was a bug a while back that skills continued to
acumulate/train skillpoints after reaching lvl5 this bug has now been fixed for a long time, but people who where afected still have the extra skillpoints past lvl5 (doesnt make any
change in gameplay).

The skill "Carriers" should probably be removed from the list of skills not released, seeing as we have racial variants.

Falzone is a fake, looking at his char race and bloodline max per / will and at his learning skills with a maximum of +4 implants, it's not possible to get to 61m sp with the skills he have
Also, it seem he was at 40m SP about 6 months ago as seen here and/or at 45m SP about 3 months ago as seen here
