An impossible thing to ask for, but I would add the underpinnings of realistic physics: planets orbiting stars, gravity around planets and stars, orbiting stations.
Such things don't make a huge difference in gameplay but would make the environment more dynamic to affect undock bookmarks, station camping, and so on. |

Of course it would make a difference. Undock and dock bookmarks would be gone for good, cause u make them in space not in relation to the station. while station camping would be no problem, u could stay in distance to it.
I think this would depend on the implementation.
*) An instadock bookmark may be like an address. The address to your house leads exactly to your house in a GPS even if it might be on the opposite side of the sun in 6 months .... not accounting for the rotation of the planet itself.
*) An instaundock might be useless since the point of space bookmarked moves relatively much slower than the orbiting station.
*) If the station itself rotated to simulate gravity in our CQs then ships would pop out at all kinds of angles. Simply keeping at a distance would cause you to miss ships that come out on the other end of the station. It would be even more interesting if stations had to constantly calibrate their rotation in terms of angular velocity and axis of rotation.
I wasn't debating. Just discussing things that we may only ever see in a dream. |

Cancel Align NOW wrote:Create an NPC bounty system that increases incrementally month on month.
1-3 months in an NPC Corp: 50mil 4-6 months in an NPC Corp: 120mil 7-9 months in an NPC Corp: 180mil 9-12 months in an NPC Corp: 250mil For every additional month beyond 12 months the total bounty increases by 5%
Bounty is reset to 0 after a NPC pilots pod is destroyed.
NPC alt farming. What a marvelous idea for virtually unlimited, PVP-free, passive supplemental income.

Local Makes the game too Easy
What does this even mean? You'd have to pod yourself to leave the system?

What sharp wit.
As a wormholer yourself, one would think you'd know already know where to go if you want delayed Local. Instead, here you are trying to force this mechanic on null or low.

Who was talking about wartargets?
My idea was for longer GCC timers for lower sec status post gank - that is all.
I'll take your response off the air. This is quite funny. It's like seeing a scrub argue about PvP with someone like HandOfSatan or Propagandas. https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Jarod_Garamonde_%28Character%29 Then again, I note the February 2014 birth-day.
The start date of both of these colorful characters notwithstanding, Veers is talking about pre-Retribution pre-Crimewatch 2.0 Global Criminal Countdown, whereas the newer Criminal Timer is in all respects the same as being a -10.
No need to flash credentials when having an argument. Just argue the point itself.
Veers, they got rid of GCC because it was a nuisance to lowsec PVPers and it essentially destroys content for 15 mins at a time. Sure, people sit around for 15 mins with the current system, but it's not a binary "dock or die" sort of choice.
And for your reference: Introducing the new and improved Crimewatch (Dev Blog) EVE Fanfest: Crimewatch
E: In Jarod's defence Veers moved goalposts between his first and second post. Typical Veers, obviously.

Veers Belvar wrote:You have no idea what you are talking about. The current 15 min GCC timer has nothing to do with -10 sec status. -10s do not spawn concord, can take gates, can move around, can gank people. The only consequence for them is that the FacPo eventually show up.
People under 15 min GCC timer get shot up by CONCORD....for the full 15 minutes any undocking leads to an immediate CONCORD response and certain death. That's why gankers dock up for the 15 minutes and do laundry, play minecraft, etc....they are functionally unable to play the game.
So many "elite PvP" gankers....so little knowledge of the game......
Well I have no excuse for misstating everything. Though unwittingly all I've ever done during GCC is play undock games with no ill consequences.
Go figure.
