Ok today i woke up to Phoebe version of eve where it seems that once again. CCP has decided to screw with the sandbox
and Nerf the jumprange of carriers, dreads and rorquals to 2.5 Light years.
as i only use carriers and the rorqual for transport this is a devastateing blow to me personaly.
I am sick and tired and fed up with CCP contantly changeing the game when things dont suit them,
this has cost me billions in time, work and effort to build these ships which are now useless from what
their role has been.
Ok so now we can jump through gates to travel. Now that for a capital would be suicide to try and run through gate
camps without massive fleet support.. I dont what kind of drugs ccp is on but clearly its not helping with your thought processs.
I have 12 accounts in this game and pay thousands a year to play.
this is the last straw. after all the changes and things that ccp has taken away from me over the years
ive reached the final point.
I will be letting my subscriptions on all accounts lapse, and just go and find something better to do than waste
more time, effort and money on game that is clearly no longer a open sandbox.
I am not the only one that will be quitting either. i know several freinds in the same position that already said they where
finishing up before the patch for the same reasons.
I may be a bitter Vet. but god dam it i have good reason to be.

Afaik, from reading the patch notes, max range should be 5 LY (after skills taken into account)
Hm, 12 accounts...I have 11, of which 10 are active atm

I suggest you sell your rorqs and carriers like anyone of any intelligence would and get a bunch of jump freighters.
Or, delete your account. If you don't want to adapt, you don't want to play Eve anyways.

There were multiple threads on these changes for quite a bit now on the information portal.
The ORIGINAL nerf plan was much worse, but CCP revised it to what went live today after 400 pages of player feedback. |

I feel your pain, I also hate my ships being exposed to danger when jumping through gates.
