Would it not be more interesting and far better content to open up Jove Space than create a different type of wormhole? We have had sleepers in WH space for a long time so now lets get the Jove awakened. The Null alliance rush for the space would out surpass the landrushes of the 1900's lol |

What if the only connection to Jove space is through one of the statics in Thera?
Things could be getting interesting, for once

Create a high sec bridge and null sec bridge and lets all go for the land rush, would bring some nice content.
They are talking about black holes and new gates. |

I would only support this if the Jove actively repel invasion like sleepers on steroids. They should camp gates with bubbles, use caps to attack POSes, and hot drop mining fleets.

1. Opening up Jove space (and Jovian stuff) will remove a plot device that CCP can use for future expansions. This would require CCP to then come up with something entirely new that may or may not jive with "the story of EVE."
2. Why spoil the mystery?
Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective.

If CCP did this, it would have to come with a lot of new content in the game. A new area that works pretty much like existing null but with different NPCs would be very disappointing. It would need to be something new and different.
I like the idea of NPCs using player tactics to protect their space. It could also be interesting if there was a way to gain standings with the Jove to be allowed in their space. I am not suggesting it should be a carebear kingdom, just that there should be some kind of structure, not just null and rats. |

I think Jova ships should NOT be added to the game as standard ships anyone can fly. Just because you might have to fight them does not mean there needs to be a way to build or buy them. |

Is nothing sacred anymore?
I do not like the men on this spaceship. They are uncouth and fail to appreciate my better qualities. I have something of value to contribute to this mission if only they would realize it.

Jovians are like the Space Jockeys in Alien. Ancient, mysterious, advanced, dead. Then they made Prometheus and took a big fat dump on all that wonder. EVE doesn't need a Prometheus expansion. |

My feeling is that when the Jove invade empire space, it should be totally unannounced.
Mission runners, miners, nullsec denizens, fw plexers etc.. all get hit with the hammer of jove all at once without warning,
I don't foresee capsuleers getting access to their space at all. That would be a bit cheesy unless we discover that they all died to an even greater threat, and it's a sort of ghost town region. |

Do people actually believe there is a ton of unreleased content hidden somewhere or something?
There's no Jove space to open. There's some unreachable systems labelled 'Jove Empire'. There's nothing actually there. Just empty systems.
If that's your standard for content, CCP could just label a region "Yo Momma" and open her up for business.

Actually it's where the devs/employee's play the game (with each other) since they stopped playing the game with the players, due to shenanigans (Kugutsumen, T2 BPO scandal, etc).
Everything in EVE is a trap.

Bzzt wrong, try again! This answer has not been revealed, but to quote the wiki:
"Eventually, the Jove cut off all contact between themselves and the rest of the cluster. Today, the Jove are rarely seen by the rest of New Eden, leading to persistent rumors that the disease has claimed them completely, though long range sensors continue to report activity in Jove space. " |

I don't think the Jovians should ever be completely revealed- they are the biggest enigma in new eden- there are two entire regions we can't even get into!
I am more than a little obsessed with them- but I would never want to take away the mystery.
And the Jovians are alive
