Simply put, there is not a faster aligning pilot in Eve. In most frigates, align times are less than 1 second, meaning faster than one Eve server cycle, meaning that the probability of getting locked are as near to zero as possible.
In a properly equipped Daredevil, his align time is 0.81 seconds. The warp bar snaps and he is off. I have never been caught running precious cargo. In practice, he cannot be caught in hisec.
How is this possible?
Well, first of all, make sure you understand the align time calculation.
** Next, make sure you put is all the proper low friction nozzles and intertia stabs ** Then: make sure you have every agility implant possible: - Mid-grade Nomad Alpha - Mid-grade Nomad Beta - Mid-grade Nomad Gamma - Mid-grade Nomad Delta - Mid-grade Nomad Epsilon - Mid-grade Nomad Omega - Eifyr and Co. 'Rogue' Evasive Maneuvering EM-706
Taxman does!!! Along with the full set of +5 skill implants, these are worth OVER 3 billion ISK !!!
He flies interceptors and deep space transport with level V perfection as well.
Training him up for Freighters now.
SP are worth 11 billion. Implants are worth 3 billion. He is yours today for 12 billion.
Think of the ISK you can make.
All CCP rules apply.

Thank you for the bid.
Where is he docked? He don't dock much, man. Moving things around. You can have him wherever you want him.
Come up with the other 4b and you fly him home today! |

Let's review the tips that made me so worthwhile:
Tip #1:
Rather than using the dock button to warp to zero (because sometimes it takes a second or two to get to the docking perimeter upon arrival), put your own bookmark inside the docking/launch bay and then warp to zero to that before spamming the dock button. This trick has saved me countless billions in Jita alone.

Tip #2:
Always scout your path through unknown space. And I mean ALWAYS. In nullsec, use a toon that you don't mind getting popped and really figure out to which incoming gates any drag bubbles are aligned. This allows you to select off-alignment celestials to warp to zero from with the high-value cargo.
Say goodbye to gate-camp woes forever. More on that tomorrow.

actualy implants can be have been for years physical assets can be left but they cant count them in the value of the sale
and only implants that are pluged in can be included in value.
nice char btw gl with sale |

You could be caught with fleet boosted point, lock and scram. No one can't be caught. Nice toon regardless. |

The rules are unambiguous. Implants can be listed among the character's valuable assets:
CCP Spitfire wrote:. . . 7. Items cannot be listed among the character's valuable assets, only skills, implants and reputation. You are buying/selling the character ONLY and nothing else. Ships and items can be readily bought on the market for ISK. . . . Character Bazaar Rules and Resources *Updated 21/01/2014*
As to your assertion that somehow this has anything to do with the value of the character, regardless, the logic of your calculus is flawed . . .

Thank you for all the interest. I am flattered, but more interested in ISKies than chatter. While I wait, here is:
Tip #3:
Those pesky gate campers! In null, they will try to catch you with their bubbles and then scram you as you try to make a run for it, and in high, they will pretend to be minding their own business having a smoke near a gate until they suicide gank you.
When will they ever learn?
A properly fitted ship will always be able to get away. Just remember to always fit your ship for the occasion! Warp core stabilizers are essential weapons of the high-value cargo hauler. How many you need and how many low slots you can afford to spare for inertia stabilizers depends on your base agility and agility implants.
That is why Taxman never flies the expensive stuff without his full set of Low-Grade Nomad's plus his Eifyr agility implant. He can afford to give up an inertia stabilizer or two. Can you?
Next time, more on low slot usage. Until then,

Tip #4:
Ah, the embarrassing fits of the high-value hauler. Let's face it, if you get ganked, not only do you lose your cargo, but you get laughed at in local (let's hope not on the killboard too). Your fits always make the pew-pew crowd howl with laughter. The only recourse you have is to slip out of their grasp and let them wonder what they missed as their security statuses deteriorate even more. Remember, they will never know how nice we have it in hisec.
So, always fit those low slots with warp core stabilizers. If one is good, two must be better. Plan on having that as your de-facto standard. If you need three, you are dead anyways.
Mod's are a slightly different story. Low friction nozzle joints versus polycarbon engine joints: the age-old question. The answer to that depends on where you are going.
More on that next time. Until then,

Tip #5:
There's an important difference to hauling in hisec versus null.
In hisec, speed doesn't matter at all - only agility matters. You should never have to move. Just jump and warp. If you have to align and move, you are likely dead. So, always fit with just inertia stabilizers and low-friction nozzle joints.
In null, speed matters. If you get caught in a bubble, you have to either crash the gate or run for it as quickly as possible. Try to avoid bubbles to begin with, but, just in case, fit with nanofiber internal structures and polycarbon engine housings - a spare midslot should be used for active shield boosting to be able to take one round without being inst=popped.
It may not seem like much of a difference, but every second counts when you are hauling expensive cargo.
Choice of ship is equally critical, but more on than next time. Until then,

Tip #6:
Ah, yes, the MWD cloak trick. I am not going to explain it any more than you can find anywhere else on the internet. As with most things in Eve, it takes practice, Practice, PRACTICE!!! Don't believe a word of what anyone says about 90% on the MWD before disengaging the cloak. You have to find the optimal point for each precise configuration of ship, rigs and inherent align skills.
Of course, Taxman, with his skills and implants, makes the whole thing a lot more likely to succeed. To be perfectly honest, he is able to do the trick with a 1MM MWD on a full sized Industrial. It is all a question of timing the cloak disengage point on the MWD cycle. This saves huge powergrid capacity for extra shields. You would not believe how surprised the would-be gankers are as they see the burning gas coming out of your backside as you shoot away from their feeble efforts to scram you.
Evemail for more details. Keep those in-game bids coming. That being said, take another look at the skillsheet: Taxman has almost finished training for Capital Freighters. With the implants, how fun it will be to move big cargo!!! I am going to have to raise the offer price soon. 12b still works for now.
Next time, we are going to tackle a slightly different topic: how do you find the stations you want to haul to/from? Until then,

Tip #7:
Trading is by far the easiest and fastest way to accumulate wealth, in Eve and in real life. While it is true that he "who can destroy a thing, controls a thing" (thank you, Frank Herbert), the war in Iraq reminded us that, while controlling the production of an asset by force of arms may work for a while, he "who fights by the sword, shall die by the sword" (thank you, Jesus). In Eve, controlling moons with fleets takes massive armies; trading takes but one or a few. Just give me a few good men and we can change the world.
Consider current Eve-Politik. Love him or hate him, TheMittani will go down in Eve history as one of the great leaders of all time. But he now faces the same problem that all great military leaders have faced throughout the ages. As his foes are vanquished one by one, what next for his soldiers? Inevitably, he must turn swords to ploughshares - reap what he has sown. Anyone surprised by the decision to rent space is a poor student of history. Either he provides for those who depend upon him, or he will be the next Ozymandias.
Quote:"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!" Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away Find your niche and do not fear the risk of failure. The brightest light oft comes from the moth closest to the fire.
The day to day work of trading is more pedantic than glorious. It is not for all. Pay forward what you can. Until then,

Tip #8:
When running cargo through hisec, there are always going to be the choke points where the gankers are lurking. A simple trick is to enter and exit those systems through the less traveled gates. I won't get into the specific routes except in private Evemail, but, take my world for it, adding one extra jump is worth the effort.
Let's face it, gankers are inherently lazy. That's why they don't have useful jobs, like most of us peaceful ISK generating hisec denizens. If is easier for them to just sit and wait for the next noob and harvest tears than it is to go do some mining.
Get a job. Until then,
