Ok, so I know about contracts, the problem is every time I make one, it never sells and just expires and I'm left with blueprints I don't want but are worth money so I don't want to just give them away or trash them either. What do I do with them, how do I get them to sell if all I can do is dump it in contracts and hope somebody sees it?
Also...a relic site dropped a BPO of a Blood Medium Pulse Laser Battery, which is pretty cool, those batteries sell for like 15 mill or something in Amarr. But I have no desire to make a bunch of batteries, so...what might this be worth to sell thru contract? Any way to find out? I only found copies in contracts going for about 9 mill. So an original would be worth way more, right?
Anybody help? What to do with this growing collection of blueprint copies and this one BPO? |

Where are you trying to sell them? My Jita alt has generally been able to complete most contracts for the BPCs I find, but it does take some effort in learning how to search contracts (hahaha no its literally an option when you right click a BP) and sell prices (this is the tricky part about the market). |

I mostly operate out of Amarr for my trading. I mean I follow the instructions to set up the contracts, price them competitively, but no matter what, they just don't sell. No matter what the BPC is - an armor, a shield repairer, jump drives of all sizes...just nothing happens. Is there some kind of step by step guide, maybe I am doing something wrong, I don't know.
The BPO I haven't tried to sell because I can't find anything about what to price it at. As I said, only copies are for sale that I can find and this is an original so that price doesn't really help. |

Are you sure its a BPO?
If it dropped from a relic site it is most likely to be a 3-run BPC (Copy).
If you are pricing your copy as though it was a original, its no wonder no-one will buy it.
Double check it to see if it really is an BPO. |

I'm positive it's a BPO. Says right in the info "Original infinite runs". I know the difference.
As I said twice before, it's not the BPO that isn't selling, I haven't even tried to sell it because I don't know what to price it at. |

If your contracts are not selling, it means no-one wants to buy them. So, you need to make them more attractive to the buyers. You could lower the price so yours is the cheapest.
If you can't find a comparison to give you a price, you need to work it out yourself.
eg; If you have a 1-run BPC and the item it makes cost 5 million in materials. If the finished item sells for 6 million then no-one will buy the BPC if you price it at 1 million or more.
Try looking around these two forums.

People are loath to buy BPC's unless they're at max level and those who make isk by making stuff have BPO's and make their own copies. You best bet would be to make your offer more attractive by selling a bunch attractive copies instead of just one type of BPC.
The BPC's that usually sell are the ones that have very expensive BPO's to being with such as towers (though actual tower might sell better), capitalship parts, T2 modules and the actual ship blueprints. |

I'm pretty sure it's not a BPO, especially if you got in a data/relic site (whichever one drops blueprints). Sometimes the UI is a bit buggy and says it's a BPO, this seems to happen if the blueprint is e.g. in a can and you right click > Use in Industry).
A lot of those blueprints from exploration aren't worth anything due to the fact that the market is flooded with them, e.g. ancillary shield and armor, microjump drives and so on. There are one or two that can be sold or built for a profit so it's worth making a note of these and either selling or building them, whichever works for you.
Select a bpc in your item hangar, right click and use in industry, set the view to Manufacting (the factory icon on the left) then mouseover the > symbols. You'll see the materials in red on the left (as presumably you won't have those to hand) but if you mouse over the > symbols you'll see an estimated build price for the blueprint as a whole. Now mouseover the built item on the right and if it doesn't show an estimated sell, right click, view market details. Compare the build and sell price and add in the job cost to build next to the start button to see if you can build the item at a profit. If not, no-one is going to buy that bpc off you, and no-one would even take it free unless they want squirrel it away in the hope that one day it can be bult for a profit.
To repeat, some of the ancillary armor reps can be built at a profit so there are some items worth keeping / selling. I'd suggest when you find one like that, work out the total build cost, as above, halve that, multiply by number of runs and use that as a guide to what to sell it for on contracts.
As for the pos guns, you should be able to sell or build any of those. Do the costing exercise above to determine what price to set.

A. You are likely asking TOO much for the blueprint if the contract doesn't sell.
B. There is not a big market in that item / you are selling it in the wrong location.
C. Unlike market sales, you have to somehow advertize your blueprint contracts as contracts aren't a busy scene.
Agree with the others, if it dropped in exploration sites, 99.99% certain you are talking about a BPC. Which if priced as a BPO not only won't sell, people will actually laugh at you cause you are trying it.
*p.s. the last 0.01%, that is the error of bugs, as exploration sites will drop BPCs and not BPOs

If you want, visit the Blueprints channel in game, link the BP and ask for price advice. The people there know their BP trade. We can also tell you if it's worthless (a lot of exploration ones are) |
