So according to my perusal of wikipedia (trusted source of all things knowledge) after Rhea will be Themis and then we will be out of titans to name the releases. At this point there are many options to choose from, and I'm assuming CCP has already taken this under consideration. However, this threads intent is to drive up some player Ideas and popular opinions from all across the spectrums.
Things to consider when choosing names:
- Obsurity - naming the releases after the 13 gnomes of the garden of disney world may not be the best option given it isnt something known broadly enough (regardless of its rediculousness)
- Pronunciation - If you choose to use old norse names like "+Porger+Śr H+Ślgabr+Ś+Śr" (Don't ask, I don't know) you may find some difficulty in getting traction behind it
- Themes - The naming system does not necessarily need to be derived from deities or mythology. It could be named after the top 7 tallest mountins in the world, or your favorite animal genus (don't suggest lion, already taken and lawsuits are expensive)
- Existing names - The titan line surely stepped on the toes of a few ship names. This may be something you want to avoid entirely or embrace completely. Your choice.
- Relevance to lore - Bonus points if you can tie the names into the story line or with existing culture from the game
Just drop the name of the category and a list of the names in your post, a short description of why (I think its cool is technically an explanation, but not very helpful). If you decide to suggest the next 30 expansion names, please truncate to your favorites, and maybe include a link to the rest of the list.
I'll suggest one to start us off.
