Celero Incendium Fist of the Goat	Posted - 2006.08.28 03:46:00 - [1] Fist of the Goat Statement: With the internal announcement of the Imperium Alliance high command decision to join forces with the Goonswarm and Red-Alliance in the Great Wildlands / Curse regions, the directors of the member corp Shadows of the Wraiths have left the corp and formed the new corp Fist of the Goat. We will be going back to our roots as a small, invite-only, close-knit, combat-oriented corp. Our reason for this is simple - Imperium has decided to join forces with the most despicable group of pilots in the known universe and our conscience will not allow us to take part in such a ghastly arrangement. To the members of the Shadows of the Wraiths that wish to remain with Imperium Alliance: you will be allowed to do so, full control of the corp will be handed over to you within the next 24-48 hours. We will consider you all as friends for as long as you may have us. To the leaders of the Imperium Alliance - Karma's a *****. --ci

And also the last time I payed attention ERA was fighting RA in the cache... somehow the joined forses of the Goonswarm and RA makes no sence to me. Anyone care to clarify that one for me?

Imp has been stuck in a rut for a while. They definatly need a change of pace. Imp + RA + GS has big potential in the south. Its a good call no matter what you might think of the goons. I dont see where karma enters into the picture here. Just sounds like you are being short sighted and over dramatic tbh. G/L with that.

If you guys could see the breakdown in command that is going on within Imperium Alliance at the moment, you'd realize that this is simply a move to try and cover their ass. They say it's because they want to group with RA and GS to take down BoB, but in reality Xirtam just realized that his precious mining ops that he's been conducting in Fountain while BoB has been hanging out in Syndicate are now in jeopardy with your return. This is a move to get farther away from BoB, not to try and rebuild the alliance. --ci

I thought it was a valid question, seeing as most of the pilots from the Southern Coalition would call RED Alliance that and more.

And while we could sit here and argue about the relevance of whether or not this is a "big" move or even a good move for the alliance, I'd rather take this for what it was - the announcement of the formation of a new corporation. Either wish us luck or wish us failure and perhaps stop worrying about the reason for the formation of the corp. Stop trying to read too much into it. --ci
