Prrfft... who cares if its a med or highslot item... it certainly is not because of 'high power reqs' because i have an xl shieldbooster that eats more than my L charge lasers.
Personally, i like it to be a highslot item... my Amarr ship doesnt have that much medslots :)
Actually, since its such a powerfull device.. it should use one high AND one medslot :)

As in a shield transfer + extender....
But the other issues still stand, local, warping etc etc ..
Maybe CCP should have asked the players (both sides)

Quick question then. If you can't use your mid slots while cloaked, it you're a passive tank then theres not problem correct? It only stops you from activating items while in cloak and then waiting for them to power up after you drop cloak.

you actually probably managed to pull the oldest thread relating to cloaking from the graveyard. This was actually well before cloaks were finally released after it was first blogged about back then
sure nice to see mongo & jash threads again though hehe.

you can activate your tank anytime after you decloak, you just cant activate your high slots/target someone until the sensor recalibration is complete.
fyi whilst we are taking this proverbial walk down memory lane, when cloaks first were tested, they dropped your shield to 0% hehe.
