Just compare the two options and tell me what you gained that was significant by going with option a and not b.
I was only making references to your fittings (I don't think I commented your ability?) because you bragged about your survivability very close after your corp had an incident where that was not the common trait. I am not the one constantly referencing personal abilities or supposed heroics.
And I totally understand what a small part of the Eve universe I am. But that is not the scale we measure ourselves against.
I am simply trying to set the record straight for those who wanted to know the situation and being aware I am biased, trying to keep it clean of insubstantiated claims to best of my ability. There might be subjective evaluations on concepts that are less quantifiable, granted. But that I hope is clear.

Your making this so called war long and drawn out when there is no need. 'IF' Smashkill had the expertise they could have crushed RATEL quickly, but all im seeing is a lot of forum jockeying and not a lot of 'actual' progress.

If yall want the story straight up here it is. Ratel has called in their allies. This includes F-E and Black flag. Smashkill is very short on allies right now but are expecting things to change. Currently TDE and all systems with prolly 6 jumps are in complete Ratel control. We had a POS set up in 6L78 for ratting and Ice mining while we were part of Smash and Ratel sent us packing in 2 days after discovering the POS.
I am not saying that Ratel has this battle won or that Smashed is going to win. I am saying that currently Ratel and allies have Smashkill heavly outnumbered and are winning almost every engagement.

Running franticly towards the engine room Sacul swears once again at the old Megathron's warp drive, 3 months old, no insurance and parsecs away from the nearest corp hangar.
Upon entering the engine room the problem becomes clear at a glance.
"Damn this region" he mutters and commands his ship towards the nearest deep safe spot.
"Any chance of u lot getting me spare parts?" he askes on the open corp com. A deep sigh and the sound of a teardrop falling on the cold hard steel floor is all the sound to be heared in the big ship.

Yes you setup a POS that could be knocked down by BS's... And it gets knocked down. On the other hand, RATEL haven't even attempted an assault on any of the SMASH POS's in TDE since the fiasco that was the first one put up (yes, someone setup one with no guns and no stront, right before RATEL's peak time, and while most of SMASH were asleep)...
All SMASH has to do to win this in a week is put up another 12 towers. We're content with the current pace however.
In some timezones RATEL and allies have big numbers, in others SMASH outnumber them 3:1... The advantage so far for RATEL is that they have the numbers at the same time SMASH's dreads are online. Sure at the other times SMASH manage to kill alot of BS's while taking only frigs as losses. But that doesn't 'win' the war, as RATEL members don't seem to mind losing a few BS's each every week.
