I am new to the Rifter, what do you guys recommend carrying in cargo for pvp? ...and why? ...and how much?
Seems ACs eat ammo like it was candy.

The short range stuff, on autos. Your optimal is basically non-existant anyway. EMP S, with some Fusion, and phased plasma for damage type coverage.

Barrage is your friend and t2 small guns don't take long to train.

Just remember that Barrage ammo nerfs your speed and cap regeneration, so only load it when you need it.

I usually fill my cargo hold with t1 ammo (EMP, PP and Fus) since it's so cheap anyway, with a little t2 in the mix if I'm fitting t2 guns.

t1 AC ammo is surpisingly effective...
barrage is defiantely the bees kness for all ac ammo.... but very very expensive... never really tried hail.. but i hear its great for taking out larger ships....
Phased plasma, EMP, Titanium Sabot, Fusion... are all VERY decent munitions..
I primarily use Phased Plasma and that alone will let me break thru shield tanking NPC battlecruisers... EMP if I am in a hurry...
If i run into armour tanking BCs... i slam on some fusion...
OR if i really wanna to show off just slam on the barrage...
Its always useful to carry a variety of different munitions ... i usually carry a total of 4000 rounds.. of varying amounts of each type depending on where I am .... Just remember... optimal range isnt a problem... so u dont really have to worry about the optimal range penalty ... just get a skill and anything else that can increase your falloff range for maximum effectiveness.....

there are a lot of ways to load those guns.
weirda almost exclusively have 2 tube filled with fusion s... the third emp/pp depending.
the extra explosive goes the extra mile when you hit armor on the other ship...  __ Weirda Join QOTSA Now |

I prefer to use Phased plasma over EMP, better range and the emp only does around 0.8 more damage on shields, and a lot of shield tankers tend to put EM hardeners which will put EMP less useful than phased plasma
