Hey there,
I'm kinda testing the waters and i'm considering joining FW, together with a friend. Or two or three. We're kinda Vets, and skillwise i can only talk for myself right now: I'm specialised in Sub-Capital warfare, have been in FW for quite some time already and would consider myself one of the 'better' frig pilots. I like soloing, small to medium gangs, occassional breaks from EVE and throwing insults in corpchat. I hate the blob and always look to improve my skills by fighting battles that are roughly equal.
I, and the other people, have a huge selection of properly skilled T2 ships of various races and sizes, we're not shy to fly the stuff that is needed, and we're not shy to use and lose it either.
I'm currently not well-informed about the Warzones, where the farmers are, what the tiers are, where the gudfites are etc, etc...
So it'd be cool to get some quickinfo on the factions, groups inside them and whom they usually fight.
Mainly looking for Gallente or Amarr Faction, however not tied to the specific warzones.
Sincerly,

Black Rise/Placid are the place to be.
Caldari could use some more pilots who know what they are doing atm. But if battling local pirates sounds like fun to you then Gal Mil has a few good groups worth looking into. |

Amarr/min warzone is most active during EU prime time, plus the systems layout is better for solo/small-gang stuff. It's also handy to have three major trade hubs within 10j
There's nothin' like skating away from a fight with the hull on fire, some mods burned out and a cargohold full of loot.

What Than said pretty much. Spiritus Draconis and My alliance have pretty good EU TZ's in Gallente. If you want to have more frig type targets available to you though I would look at joining Caldari as there are plenty of Gallente FW dudes flying around in that size stuff while Caldari is on a bit of downturn numbers wise currently, and won't provide you nearly as much content.
If you want to fly bigger stuff and fly with relatively higher skillpoint pilots and fleets on a more regular basis then look at Gallente. |

Which Amarr FW corps would you recommend for EU TZ? |

I'd recommend you look at the thread of faction corps and choose from there.
As Minmatar just lost two to three of their core corps/alliances I think you will find that targets are few and far between at this time.
However, Space-Brewery-Association is EU TZ and fly anything and everything in solo, small & large fleets.
English language based, multinational. corp. oh yeah and Ypsiloon is a cool CEO
If I was going to make a choice to join FW right now. I'd join Minmatar at tier 1 with plenty of targets

Try joining a minmatar corp, simply put you will have so many targets its fun as hell. Much like Roberts above me, if I had to choose it would be minmatar.
Second choice close behind would be caldari.
This is not to say amarr nor gals are terrible. Its just they dont need the pilots. |

If you are looking for good in the EU TZ you'll probably come up short. Unless of course you are from the EU, then the bad that is embodied by EU players will just seem normal. If you're from EU then just find a less bad EU corp and it will feel like it's good - just don't cross into another TZ of gameplay, because a 'good' EU corp is roughly equivalent to 'not terrible' in other TZ.
Good luck in your quest to achieve slightly below average. |

finding a good fw corp, good luck with that.
Most good players have gone long time ago from fw and even from eve. |
