Its knackerd...you will be lucky to stay online more than 5 minutes...

Maybe easier question, is there anyone who *isn't* experiencing ultra-lag and regular disconnections after the "upgrade"?
Was just hoping to get in long enough to turn over the factories and make sure CCP hadn't unrented all my labs or somesuch. Over an hour and I haven't even managed to accomplish that. (2-5 minutes of lag per jump/station entry/loading char after getting booted, again)

Hawkings, please just stop talking before you hurt yourself, all mmorpgs are never stable for a while after a massive upgrade, so just be patient and ummm make pancakes or something

Reboot coming up.
Did anyone expect that we were getting better servers? That wouldn't make sense. Player numbers aren't up, so why on earth would they go out and spend more money on new servers?
My guess: They took some of the lease machines out of the cluster in an effort to cut costs.

and 5 min ago a message informing that hte server ll be done 10 min.
well, im going to bed and hope for a clean game like before.

If we're being realistic, we can all admit we never expected the hardware change to run smoothly.
I planned on doing other things tonight and was only going to log on to train skills.
If you do get on, I suggest you either do agent missions, stick to Empire Space, and don't even consider entering Yulai

Hell before there were new Severs every one was Whinning about the lagg and bad performance now there is an Server Upgrade (yes maybe at the beginning not very stable but i think in 1 or 2 days it will run smooth and about what are you guys Whinning then???)

Why do you assume it is an upgrade?
Far more likely that it is a downgrade, in my opinion.

what are you expecting?
ever changed mainboard, os, cpu?
does it run smothly right after you push the "power on" button the first time?
i'm sure, mostly not.
so, give 'em a chance.
go and flame your pet...

I have seen other server upgrades in MMORPGs like DAoC. And guess what? When the server went on-line again, one could actually play.

I for one didn't even think about logging in until 17:00 bst on the assumption their estimate would be off by an hour or two. Even then I've planned to go out tonight instead on the assumption if it can go wrong it will go wrong :P
Server upgrades are bound to cause problems, if they don't you just got lucky :P
In the long run I'd rather miss tonights play in return for more stable play in the coming months. That is assuming the upgrades make a noticable difference.
I think people should reserve judgement complaint wise until a week has passed and we can see how the new upgrades work with all the teething problems sorted. But thats just me

Well subconsciously I probably expected this...
I mean why else would I have recently installed Halo plus some other goodies?
Doesn't make it any less disappointing, does it?
They never ever manage to do things without the system going haywire....I mean statistically that's impossible.

I am enjoying it.
But I never brought a service on-line to kick the 1200 people who just logged.
Well, if you like to play this cat and mouse game, log in, play, get booted, wait a bit, log in, get booted, then do it.
I am only comparing to other server updates I witnessed as a customer. Right now I see a try and error HW upgrade going on. Maybe they should have exchanged the HW instead of migrating it.

if your fighting npc's when a node goes down, the 2min thing doesnt count does it? they arent still shooting at you are they?
