ok listen jeff - it isnt a bug. Lets put it this way... The Gila had its bonuses 'advertised' incorrectly. So all those using the gila to do damage (which was where the 'advertisement' was wrong) are exploiting? as the gila isnt doing what its advertised to do? come on mate, get real.
There is no bug with it. Im not a bubble user or..*cough* 'exploiter'. Im 1005 of the time a victim. But its 0.0 - you dont like how it is, then get out of 0.0 - dont try to change 0.0 just to suit your own benefits, as thats why the petitions are so large atm cos of whining nubcakes who cant actually realise THE GAME IS NOT JUST THEIRS TO CHANGE!

Am I missing something? What would be the point of fixing this? The only advantage of putting the bubble past the gate is to force people to turn around/disorient them, right?
So they fix this bug and then the bubbles get put between the gates as the OP desires. Difference made: almost none. You are still stuck X km off the gate, only on the other side now. If you were in a fast, light ship and had a chance in hell of surviving, you still do. If you didn't, you don't.
This is the sort of bug that, if not fixable with almost no effort, will get ignored or turned into an intended feature. There's no point developers spending time to fix bugs that have no consequence, especially compared to other issues.

Do you happen to know if it's possible to simply have a bookmark on the grid abov ethe gate and warp to that, then to the gate? Will that bypass the bubble, assuming it's not in line with the gate?
Depends on how it's placed. Sometimes yes, but if it's a med bubble usually no. Sig removed, inappropriate content - Cortes |

The difference would be you wouldn't get sucked into it when you were never going to be in the bubbles range.

Bottom line, IT IS A BUG. But not the kind you'd expect.
The bug is actually in the item DESCRIPTION, and it's (let's be lenient here with CCP) more of a typo than an actual bug. So... CCP, please "correct the bug" by simply CHANGING THE DESCRIPTION TEXT ON BUBBLES.
Then everybody's happy. __ Always question everything. Including yourself. |

then that isnt a bug....its a description error.
a bug would be it makes people warp at 50au/s and makes them explode on the spot.
