After the Eve Intergalactic Bank Scandal, I have decided to open a Credit Union. I have decided to do this as I saw friends of mine that were in EIB get ripped off thanks to Cally, and his Minions. I am going to run this Honestly and Hope that all members in the EVE Community will look forward to an Honest endeavor. I will however start off Assisting New Players until the Cliant tell has built up to assist older players, and Large Coporations. I want to build a bonds of Trust with the eve-community. I would like to have a board of Directors as this is grows. The two Main individuals who I am putting in charge of this is Lei Kuzama, and Stryker Lane, Lei has been in the community and is well known by many players. He has been in the game for 2 years. So has slightly less known Stryker Lane. I will be backing the back with my Money as a silent partner to insure any isk, However Stryker will be the main POC and will refer more serious questions to Lei. Main Branch of operations will be Caldari Funds Unlimited, Malkalen IV-Moon1, in the Lonetrek Region. We will attempt to Branch out and get to other regions as we grow. We Look forward to serving the Eve Community.

I'd like to propose that everyone just deposit their funds in the Bank of Liegus instead.

But mind you, it is perfect timing as most of those burned by eib will be naive enough to try and re-coup. As was posted before, the eib guy is ready for the next round and with his financing in hand, can easily buy some older players. Plus he even warned you guys it was going to happen again, so if you get nailed, only yourself to blame. Oh what the heck, go ahead!
Just watching the scammers start up and progress is great entertainment in itself. I hope CCP never implements a sec like commission/stock market as it is wonderful to see a whole bunch of greedy players get nailed every 6 months by some get rich quick scheme :)

The Bank of Liegus would like to point out that you can't get bilked by a scammer if you give me all your money and I spend it on stuff. Just be sure you give me *all* your money, or you're still at risk to some degree.
Also, the Bank of Liegus is forced to retract its Zero Forum Drama policy. Sorry about that. *Cheerful*

IMO, anyone who plays into this deserves to lose their ISK.
As a general rule of thumb, if it isn't sanctioned by CCP directly, don't buy into it...

Did you guys not see the bit from one fo the devs possibly a dev blog cant rember but i will look where it says the guy changed the screenshots so it shoed he had more then what he did -

It never said that. It said that it wasn't worth immediately believing a guy known for modifying screenshots by the screnshots he posted.

Oveur did not directly say that that amount was not stolen, and I'm not sure he meant it.
It is certain that the scale of EIB was big enough that that amount could have been taken.
