"Periodically" is merely an indicator of a multiple occurance basis and not an actual time duration.

Just accept the fact that you will always be an "!". Then you will be pleasently suprised when it changes.

My character will be six months old this month, and I'm still a '!', so my advice would be: get used to it!
Considering the average age of an EvE char is 7 months, it's kind of sad that my picture may never appear...
