Best I ever managed was a Cruor BPC off a frigate rat - in 0.5.
110 million isk for half a dozen light missiles.

I ratted for 3 straight weeks in a -1.0 in VENAL, the gurista home region, and i only got 1 dread spawn. And it was a battlecruiser, with 1000 medium iridium ammo.

The really good stuff shouldn't be too easy to get, otherwise it wouldn't be the really good stuff since everyone would have it.

This thread was fun to read so I thought I would add my own story about my one and only faction spawn.
I had just signed up for my EVE account and moved up to a kestrel in the first week. Grinding skills and desperate for a cruiser I prowled the belts in the northern Forge region looking to pop rats and gather some loot to refine or fit on my ship. I warped into an empty 0.6 system and started to go through the belts when I ran into a curious new ship. Behold a Dread Bantam was part of the usual frigate spawn and I engage. Curiously it took some serious damage and after a few minutes I finally manage to pop it and head over to the loot can. Taking a peak inside I am disappointed to find a bronze tag and a single strange item which I have never encountered before.
I finish up the rest of the belts and head to the closest station to look over the loot. I fit a few pieces and sell the rest and am left looking at this single piece of loot in my hanger. I needed the ISK so I convince myself to just try and sell it on the market. The window pops up and it reads 70m ISK, my jaw drops to the floor and I re-read the number to make sure I'm seeing things correctly. At this point I had around 700k in my wallet so I realize that I definately found something special! I decide to take a closer look at the market as the buying price was suspicously low; around 60% below average. To my amazement this single module is worth even more! Being the horder that I am I decide to keep this in the safety of my hanger and log for the day on a high note. The Low-Grade Crystal Omega and bronze tag still sit in the station to this day as a reminder of my first week in the game
