Update:
Caused by start-up testing for tomorrow. Resolved itself.
Original: Did someone over at CCP miss-read the launch date and try to push Crucible early? or did I miss information regarding a patch today?
The regular DT seems to have caused my client decided that it's incompatible with the server.
Anyone else getting this? |

Yep, same here. Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

give them time until dt is officially over before complaining
maybe they have been testing the crucible deployment and will roll back to Incarna within the next few minutes. |

Operations are running start up tests for EVE Online: Crucible. There is nothing to worry about and you will be able to login as normal after downtime. CCP Navigator -Community Manager |

It's standard testing, that happens before every expansion. |

I think that's a bug and it will be fixed soon.
Nevertheless i'm waiting for "losing my skillpoints" whining to start :)

It is not a bug. This is simply Operations checking the code for Crucible and ensuring that TQ will start normally after these tests are over. This is an extremely normal operation that takes place with every expansion

My bad. First time I've encountered this particular pre-launch test, although it makes sense now I know of it. |

This sounds flawed.
If it takes place with every expansion, then people would have noticed this years ago already.
I'm playing for 2+ years now, but nobody ever noticed this.
If it's something new you're doing, it feels like it's going to help a lot ... which i like!
That said, if it's true, there's a "from now on" missing! :) |

Its not just today. This has been happening off and on over the last few days.
And no, it has not happened before this patch, well not for the last four years anyway. |
