So Cmdr Wang when is the PC version coming out?
Lets face it console gamers don't stick to games like PC gamers do they are always just using the newest one to come out, look at all the MW/BF games as an example, and we all know that FPS games are made for a keyboard and mouse its an unwritten law of the universe :) |

part of that though is because besides some map packs and bug fixes, most shooters dont actually get updated. so in order to player the latest version of cod the players have to drop another $60 to buy it. there has never been a game like dust. tf2 is the only shooter i can think of that is updated on a regular basis (well, valves version of regular anyway) besides cod and bf getting map packs and bug fixes.
also, lets face it, eve was in a similar position when it first came out, there was onyl a very small customer base. it has grown over time.

This was exactly what I thought of first seeing the thread author's name.
Now imagine my shock when I saw it was bearing the "sincere?" flag of being a CCP dev.

So why does eve and dust feel to segregated? If I was ccp Id be trying to merge as much as possible of the eve universe into the eve gate, I mean you dont see a seperate forum popping up for incarna which is clearly another section of eve game play and style.

Console gamers also complain every time they are forced to buy a new game to continue with a franchise they like. That won't be a problem with DUST.
Also, if you want to use a keyboard and mouse, there isn't anything stopping you... unless they make it specifically not supported. In which case you'll be on a level playing field.
More importantly I welcome Wang.

Currently the only use for aurum is to buy virtual items in the in-game store, but Cockerill expects to expand its uses in the future. |

Hey Wang, got a quick question for ya.
Do you have any idea if Dust will have keyboard and mouse support on the PS3 similar to how unreal tournament 3 had it? Not sure if this is a big deal or not from a programming standpoint, but as much as I would like to give dust a fair shot I absolutely cannot play a FPS with a controller. It just feels broken to me.
I've got a lot of friends who feel the same way, and while they don't play eve they have shown some interest in Dust.... be nice to get any kind of confirmation on the subject. If we can't play on PC it would be nice to at least get it "as close as possible", if you know what I mean.
