Quite interesting responses here, I haven't heard much more new evidence about it, but we have had some rather unusual theories which we're working on.
Theory One:
Inside the supposed message from Dr. Hilen Tukoss, there was a Locus Signature hidden, J1000005. Now, we know this system isn't listed on official records, but we believe it exists, and can be accessed through a C5 wormhole chain. We need everybody to search any C5 chains they come across, or just any C5 wormholes.
Theory Two:
How do you secure something in a vault? A biometric lock. What do you need to open a biometric lock such as the one at Prosper Vault? A Jove. Why do you think they need Jovian DNA and Jovian body parts? Cloning, maybe? What would be hidden in such a station? CONCORD deny anything, but we know what bad liars they are. Possibly a weapon hidden within the vault? Something capable of destroying stars? And what's the first thing you do when you get a new weapon? Test it. |

That's not a saucer, that's a prominence, a very common feature of stars. It's not a common feature of core-collapse supernovas, however.

I suspect you might need some slightly more specialised equipment to break a biometric lock. The sort of systems most capsuleers are used to hacking are fairly insecure due to the fact that they tend to be the sort of system which needs to be accessed by a lot of different entities on a regular basis, and so has many open ports and running applications. A biometric lock only needs to do one specific thing - check provided biometric data against its authentication database. If it matches, it'll let you in - if it doesn't, it won't. Hacking a biometric lock involves finding a way to interface with it other than by providing biometric data and then convincing it either that you've provided a valid match with its authentication database or simply forcing it to open the door.
The standard Guristas mainframe or Sansha databank is never going to be as secure because they're built with compatibility and ease-of-access in mind.

Then I will repeat after Diana Kim and say 'demo charges'. Or get a combat engineer to cut through that door. We have tools for that sort of thing. Just note that this method takes quite some time. Maybe hours depending on the thickness of that door.

Even if it is an ad, it's not like we can throw ISK at them and buy these shiny ships, so practically it has no point. I've never worked with this branch of SOE, but I heard that they dislike us, capsuleers, very much.
Note to self:
1. Stay away from Vale.
2. Keep probe launcher and probes ready in case of emergency diving to j-space. |

It could simply be a "lens flare" effect from whatever process is allowing the entire cluster to view the phenomena. The effect is clearly visible here in Yulai. |
