So I went on vacation and came back to find the new patch availible. I tried to install the patch, but it sticks at the 25% mark on (2/4). I have tried the only real solution that I have found for this issue, but that did not help at all. The specific error:
"(2/4): CREATING EVE_ONLINE_846443-848647_WIN.PATCH 25.0%"
The 'solution' i found said to open Task manager and end the CCP client, but I have no CCP anything running at all.
My computer isn't top of the line, but I have been able to run EVE with no issues on High settings. Hope that little tidbit helps. |

Happens to me sometimes.
I've found shutting down and restarting the launcher usually nudges back into working again.

CommieCast is one of the many terms of endearment for the lovely Comcast, which is an (in)famous ISP in the US.

if you are trying to kill the launcher look for evefile.exe that will be the launcher.

It restarts the launcher, runs repair, and/or resets its own modem at least twice before it posts a problem in GD or else it gets the troll again.

Comcast, he was trying to be clever.
And have you tried to run the launcher as Administrator? Sometimes windows goes a little loopy if you have your security set to high. |

I have tried restarting the launcher, it was my first move. As well as running as Administrator.
I thought it may have been just my school's internet (which isn't great to begin with) however it also failed to download on my home internet as well. And I know that the home internet isn't Comcast, fairly sure school internet isn't either. |

I had the same problem before.
It started after i did a uninstall of WOW and i had patch problem for a long time after that. Then i remembered about the uninstall i did months before so i tried cleaning up my Harddrive and i have not had a problem since.
Do a few runs of defrag on your HD and it should help, I think you might have the patch DL all over your HD and it can't put it back together to format it.
