Less Than Jake, possibly one of, if not >The< Best 3rd wave Ska band, have committed the ultimate sin. They have turned soft-core emo  All of their new songs (from 'In with the outcrowd') are about being depressed with their lives, and they've basically completely dumped their horn section. Are less than jake dead? I think so, and I cried

Yerp. I hear that they are finishing off their current tour doing no songs from their new album, but they just left the UK. Farrrk!
For an example of what I described, go to youtube and search less than jake and watch any of their concert / music videos. Then go to www.lessthanjake.com

Theres maybe 1 or two songs which have any horns, and theyre not even featured very highly. All of the songs have slow, boring riffs on the guitars, and theyre about 100bpm slower than usual. It's like listening to less than jake meets hawthorne heights in reverse .
I reaaaally need to go see them before they emo-ize their shows. Anyone who can afford a plane trip + tickets to see them in the US? Please?
