That works on a Apocalypse u r correct... But not on a Nightmare, the Capacitor is much, much, smaller on a Nightmare...
A Tank Apoc setup won't work sorry... The cap drains quickly, forget your 24hr tank...
Corpmate and friend who owns a Nightmare says otherwise, he tanks like a mofo in that thing :/ _________________________ Corp: www.ravenwarriors.com Cache Clearer |

Apocalypse 7500 cap
Nightmare 5937 cap
Which tank lasts longer? The Apoc costs 1/10 as much and a Navy Apoc has the same 8/4/8 slot layout so its even better...
Faction ships, especially ones that take 2 BS skills to fly should be better than their non-faction, T1 variant...
Nightmare deserves a boost!
Sex0r > you're bounty turns me on.. you seem like the kind of amarrian to dominate me

Make a nano-nightmare
4 x Siege Launchers 4 x Heavy Nosferatu 1 x 100mn MWD 1 x Stasis Web 1 x 20km Scram 1 x Cap Booster 1 x Ballistic Control Unit 1 x Power Diagnostic II or Reactor Control II (depending on skills) 6 x Nanofibers
Just hit orbit at 15km and set mwd to run and activate nos and launchers. Any close range or long range ship won't be able to hit you, the heavier missiles tend to miss you.
Only thing you'd have to watch out for would be nos, but otherwise you'd be pretty set.

Spending 900 mill for a ship which a 60 mill Typhoon can do better. Why not send some ISK my way?
This is my lazy attempt to make an uber-signature, please go away!

At one point I inherited an Amarr/Caldari specced character for a few months and I bought a Nightmare since I figured it would be the only chance I got. I PvP'd in it once, before I got bored/worried about losing it/etc. The character didn't have many tech 2 weapon skills but that wasn't too much of an issue; the real limiting factor of this ship is CPU and the launchers eat it horribly. Avoiding tech II and using best named or, better, faction loot is the best bet. I wouldn't advise using all faction loot, though, unless you're horribly rich and can afford to lose a fully faction fitted ship in pvp. IIRC, I used 4 Blood Megapulse and 4 Domi Cruise in a gank setup. Trying to get a meaningful (ie, Dual Rep) tank out of it, which also requires a cap injector, and also fit 8 weapons, is how it got it's name.
It's a Nightmare.
