I think as BH you need access to IRC anyway.

Any news from chaos-server, Sharkbait? Is still everything on track?
Btw a question about the Kali-code: Does Kali use the Dragon-code and only the new features etc. are included, or are there bigger changes in the code itself?

Which sort of problems does TQ has? Can you give us any details? What is causing this catastrophic lag in several regions and server-crashes? Is there any way, the players can help with these problems?
Kali: Chaos has a new build hasn¦t it? Can you give us any ETA for Kali on Sisi? Thanks!

Edited by: Helison on 13/09/2006 20:36:41 Good news, even if we have to wait longer to start testing Kali.
Sharkbait, is there anything, which we can do to test the server fixes? Do you need many ppl on it to create lag? Do you need any special actions (like many system-changes, BM-copying, ...)? Or is it enough if the fixes are deployed to the server and the server is started several times?
PS: I hope that the release of Kali will be delayed as long till Kali is nearly bugfree on Sisi.

Is the new patch available for download yet? And is this the kali patch or just a bugfix patch?
There is a bugfix-patch available, but at the moment it¦s impossible to connect to Sisi with this one. Probably we have to wait for the next bugfix-patch. There is no Kali-patch yet.

Please read the posts from Sharbait more carfully. There will be a thread about inactive accounts, when Kali is on deployed on Sisi. As Kali is delayed, the thread for inactive accounts is delayed too. It make no sense to ask about it in this thread. So: Please be patient.

Are there any updates about Kali available? It would be great if we could start testing soon. If Sisi still needs to run Dragon, is there any possibility to open Chaos for testing?
Btw: Have you already recruited new BH¦s?

As for kali looks to have been delayed another 2-4 weeks as far as SISI testing goes which means 2 months for TQ but no biggie they have seperate team working on that and will probably throw some extra goodies in
Perhaps it¦s a good idea to try this stress testing once with the Kali code. Perhaps it performs better than the Dragon Code? Perhaps it¦s even worth to try an old client (and serverbuild) from RMR. Maybe it¦s possible to find out what has changed.

Even funnier...
Just copy your TQ-client as both TQ and singularity are running the same version at the moment.
@Sharkbait: An update about Kali would be great.

still waiting devs have been quite last 2 days could mean they are busy prepping SISI for kali tonight
Hmmm, I would expect Sisi to be down for at least 8-12 hours for prepping it for Kali, so I don¦t think, that they are already working on it.

I¦m still wondering if this delay is because of the lag-problems on TQ (but why aren¦t there any more stress-tests scheduled for Sisi?) or if Kali itself makes still problems.
Well for the moment I see nothing to do on Sisi. Tell me if there is anything to test. Bye.

Originally by: Miss Overlord end of next week i do hope they have made progress on it while its been delayed.
They are deploying new patches for the internal Kali-build every 1-3 days, so they are still quite active there.

No, you are not correct here.

There is no thread yet for requesting access, as Kali is not on Sisi till now. Please wait for this. I¦m sure Sharkbait will post more information as it is available.

Just wait for the next mirror. There is at the moment a small "bug" which causes accounts to expire.
