When Playboy was selling their 4th spot for the Apocolypse BP copies, Heff sold that 4th spot twice (once to me, once to another corp), and luckily we received our bp THE VERY DAY copies were to become limited (we BARELY received the 5th copy). I was told numerous times they would not refund our money to boot.
Just wanted to share that.

He lied to most people that went into the BP "deals". You know the part where PB said "We'll contribute the majority share for the BP" ? Wrong. As Kaleb has nicely proven, he simply oversold on some of the slots, and got PB's "share" of the money that way. Effectively PB obtained original Moa, Rupture, Thorax, Maller, Apoc & Mega BP's by just using other people and their money. This is just one of the many deceptions from him which i'm quite happy to share now that he tried to screw me over OOG.
But hey, i'm just a lying piece of $hit

No offence Rhiannen but anybody with half a brain must have realised Playboy were doing that in anycase.
Its the "obvious" thing to do and any business-savy corp would have done the same. So long as they fulfilled their obligations as promised at the end of it then its no big deal.
You put X money in you get X money out.
What happens to the isk in-between isn't really a cause for "cocnern" and certianly not one for any sort of outrage.
As far aas Im aware Playboy were not saying that any isk received would only be used in good charitable causes within minmatar space using slave-free labour..
Thus - keep the "Character-assassinations" off the forums please.
Same as I asked Heff Im asking you... same as i told him, it only makes you look bad.

Fair point Morkt. I'm not going after him anyways, he's done a good enough job of that himself. And if you check in the original thread I stuck to what I said and kept quiet after I'd revealed to everyone what happened. I was just pointing out not so much that they did this, but that they made such a big deal of all "their" hard work lost, when it wasn't their work at all that got them the BP's, unless you're counting the 8 jumps they had to make to pickup the BP's as work.
Anyhow, i'll stfu now

Rhiannen I think all that goes without saying... anybody who requires any of "that stuff" highlighting is either not going to listen or doesn't care .. thus.. again..
a bit pointless.
So - how many offers had you have on the BPs yet?
(Nobody dare say they hadn't thought that.. ya know me im not afraid to ask...)
and what was the final list of BPs?
(Feel free to tell me to foxtrot-oscar, or drop me an eve-mail  )

Is anyone really going to deal with this thief?
A better question is: why can people still get away with theft with no penalties? This thief's character should be in jail somewhere for a long, long time (with no access to assets).

AFAIK, Heff didn't have full control of who had what hangar access.
Someone stole all the blueprints out of PE's hangars.
Heff realised his mistake and concocted a grand conspiracy theory about an exploit being used to dump BP's into your own hangar if you hare a factory manager etc and ended up slandering the GM's etc etc.
In the end, Heff bull****ted the world of Eve in order to mask his own stupidity and to try tricking the GM's into giving him his BP's back.

If you bothered to read the original thread, Heff knew nothing about that exploit until OTHER people (Reputable people, such as Datsevlu from Techell) told him about it. And CCP acknowledged the existence of the exploit in a news item 3-4 days afterwards. Corpmates of mine have independently confirmed aforementioned exploit. It is NOT a conspiracy theory, the exploit exists (or at least existed when Heff's blueprints were stolen.)

Regardless of whether the exploit existed, it's not what happened.
If someone has a gun and kills you, does that mean they neccessarily used the gun?

I'm saying he concocted a story using the exploit as the reason for him losing the bp's.

I am so happy that people are begining to realize the evilness of Playboy. I heard once that they employed an alt of a known scammer into their corp, and pulled some nasty scams. in the end, heff blamed it all on the scammer, and booted him (however he knew what was going on). similarly, He lost all his bps and tried to blame his mistake on an exploit. I hate scammers/ore theives, but at least they are known for what they did. but Heff and his corp always tries to play the innocent, which is an out right lie. He should be banned for his last stupid scamming effort

Kaleb, we did not sell you any slot. We had a blueprint copy available and you bought it. If you didnÆt want it, you didnÆt have to buy it. In the end, you got an infinite run BP for ridiculously cheap. What did you pay? Maybe 150 million? If you want a refund, feel free to bring your BP back and I will refund your money right now.

If you have any specific examples or names, I would love to hear them. You may remember MMBMA from these forums. We did receive word that we he had an alt of his in our group and we booted him immediately. Look at his posts and tell me where he says he worked a scam through Playboy. Or find anyone else who did as it would be the first I heard about it.

Heff, don't waste your valuable time explaining yourself to these folks. Some will have angst, some will move on with the game and continue to have fun (grudges are for losers).
I too read the posts about the BPs, and because I have an ounce of sense about me, I can see in the posts clearly that those involved were learning things >as they went along<, kinda like solving any crime.
If it turned out to be a thief (which it appears it has) and not an exploit, so what? Initially, is it better to blame your friends and partners, or to be unable to imagine the horrific atrocities they are capable of? Backstabbing, two-timing, thieves. Who'da thunk?
Even your RL friends will rob you blind if it's in their best interest. Terrible day when "Trust No 1" is our motto...
