Currently I use 3 X 720 Artillery t2 (with 1 gyro t2), and 3 X Arbalest Assault launchers.
Just wondering, as I will train for either t2 assault or t2 heavies depending on what is better for the huginn. What varitation would you recommend;
1. 3 X 720MM Artillery II/3 X Assault Missile Launcher II (t2 Gyrostabilzer)
2. 3 X 720MM Artillery II/3 X Assault Missile Launcher II (t2 Ballistic Control)
3. 3 X 650MM Artillery II/3 X Heavy Missile Launcher II (t2 Gyro)
4. 3 X 650MM Artillery II/3 X Heavy Missile Launcher II (t2 Ballistic Control)
I can fit any of them in my highs, not sure what would do the most dps, my guess is on 3 720s with gyro and 3 assaults, but sometimes its better to use missiles as primary than guns.
What would you recommend?

I would personally go with the 650 IIs + Heavies or 3x 720II, 1x heavy II, 2x assault II. With the tp bonus, the heavies will hit frigs better, but the bonus will have near to zero effect on light missiles vs small targets. For fitting the rest I`d (also personally) got with: 1 RCU + 1 BCU II + 1 Gyro II. In mids, atleast a webber (or two), a TP, and whatever fits your bill.
Also, most of the huggin fittings need atleast AWU lvl4 to fit grid wise, I dunno if you`ll run into trouble cpu wise though. ________________________________________________

Completely depends on what you're fighting. Assaults > Heavies for all frigates. Heavies > Assaults for cruisers and up. DPS is about the same for either when attacking destroyers or interdictors- heavies have a slight edge unless the target is MWDing, in which case assaults are better.

Look at what he's fighting in....
All of his targets will have a max speed of about 6 m/s and the sig of a titan. ----

If it fits ... 3 X 720MM Artillery II and 3 X Heavy Missile Launcher II. Fit also a ballistic control and a gyro in the lows. In the meds, put 2 TP and 2 webbers. Because of your webber and TP, you can fit frigs for more damage.
I don't know if it fits, you'll have to try it. ----- The spice must flow!!! |

If it'd fit he'd not ask about the mix of (larger arties + heavy launchers) or (smaller arties + assault launchers). Bellicose and Scythe weren't adjusted after the missile launcher change to make launchers only fit on the right sized ships back then.
I find that the assault launchers match the webbing range perfectly - along with the optimal range of the guns. --*=*=*--

I'll try that one out, although I use a large shield extender II, which needs to be switched for your setup to fit, but I'll try

IMHO, the main point of the huginn isn't to do damage, that is down to your gang mates. You are there to web and maybe paint. 3 x 650 II's + 3 x Heavies leaves you enough leeway to fit your mids decently.
Fun ship to fly but very, very niche.
