We are based out of Venal and we do 27 hops one way for bistot. Thats the closest we could find. Earlier I was checking the Geminate Region. UG-UWZ is 17 hops from a station, and is a dead end, at the end of a 6-7 hop branch. The best ore there is Gneiss... 17 hops and not even Dark Ochre.. Thats absolutely pathetic. Whats up with that crap?
Im not sure how good Angel territory is, but I have found a place 14 hops from a station with plenty of bistot. Im sure there are few more closer. I know that Sansha space is pretty rich in bistot too. Same with Fountain. Both palces I have found virgin bistot belts 12ish hops from a station.
Why do the Gurista territory inhabitants get the shaft so hard?

Fountain is mined out, the closest bist rich field in JK-Fix i could find was 30 jumps out of Gehi. I don't think Gurista space is any different than the other regions. Being in Venal you should already know about Ktay. 30 jumps is pretty standard i think. _________________ "For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack."

It may not have any Bistot, but at one point it did, where as Gurista space never had any to begin with.

true Viceroy. But how many pure miners do you know that can effectivly farm 40-50k spawns. A miner in a BS is still a miner. _________________ "For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack."

Stoop, discounting the 30+ jump trips, Gurista space is the richest bist space i have ever been in, you are not looking in the right place.
Note i have never been in Stain or Curse regions, as my alliance is not permitted to mine there, but i hear they are quite good also.

That's a big discounting :-)
When you take into account jumps to station Venal is the worst of the regions and also drops mostly the worst loot. Put these two things together and you have a not very attractive area at the moment. Bring in mobile refineries and Venal is in a very nice position regarding ore though and the upper regions are probably some of the more easily defendable areas as well.
I've been to both Stain and Curse before they were mined out and both were much richer in ore than Venal (it's not by chance that Venal was the last of the major outer-rim alliances to be formed).

It could also be that TTI spent over a month in Venal stripmining with fleets of Apocs and Miner 2's...
All regions are pretty much mined out if youre not willing to go on very long trips.. which require quite large mining ops to make it worthwile. The mega dup bug may have had a lot to do with this problem.. however I haven't noticed any change since they supposedly fixed it. That's probably because the corps involved are sitting on massive stockpiles of Mega.

Its not that all the ores are mined out.. its that there are not systems with the ores in them.. Period. There is one place in Venal that I know of that has bistot, it has a station, and its mined out naturally. I understand that, and its perfectly okay. The problem is, the next closest place that has ANY (ANY > 0) bistot, is like 27 hops from the closest station.

O god forbid that happen, not to flame, but it is not meant to be easy to find, and if it was easy to find it would not be worth much, now would it?

I never saw TTI in any other system than Y4, empire space excluded. And no, Venal never had times where everyone in the region had decent access to valueable ores.

You are crazy. I was in venal a while back and there was bist everywhere. I made a killing Real close to the stations. Maybe you should go to eve-explorer.com and learn how to scout |

Y-4CFK in Venal is one of the best systems in the game for bistot. There are some 30 asteroid belts in that system that all have bistot when fully respawned.

Venal was soooo full of bistot, that we used to shoot at the TTI haulers at y-4 for a laugh and we ran out of ammo in like 5 minutes! (before TTI could utilize their bad sense of humour and start trying to shoot us down) -

The best roid I saw in y4 ever was a 500 unit crokite roid. And that was before TTI was around.
Yeah sure, theres a bistot in just about every belt, but I think all the bistot in y4 put together isn't even more than 300 units most of the time, or was at least, in my time.

i found alot of crokite roids with 7500 Crokite, 10 Jumps from last station in Syndicate. Until baby roids problem isnt fixed i prefer to farm.

Well you can say what you want, but SI and me were there from the very start of the venal alliance and since then the only thing I heard about bistot was how little there was of it.
Then again, I'm no miner, so the latest news on the most leet mining spots in Venal may have slipped by me in those times.

Indigo you are completely correct. You guys that say that there is bistot crawling out of the woodworks out here.. tell me some system names? Ive checked all over and can not even find roids PERIOD. Surely if there was bistot in places closer than 27 hops from a station, even if previously mined out, there woudl be roids of 1+ there. I cant seem to find them, and Ive spend 10+hrs personally looking for them.

My corp's mining bist that is 21 jumps from the nearest station, but we are part of the Fountain Alliance, bist is there, you just have to look for it, best place to find it is where no-one goes to mine, just farm, then there is a load of bist waiting to be mined, oh yeah the roids we are mining are 1K in size MINIMUM!!

Bistot 10 hops to a station.
*** VALE OF THE SILENT ***
The pirate alliance is active there so you better bring a lot of muscle, better yet, bring the entire CFS with you. Otherwise, you will have to be very carefull.
The pirates out there are so arogant, they set their autopilot from the roid belts to the station in Obe and leave the monitor not expecting anyone to shoot them down.
You want zydrine and megacyte, show up in force and contend with the Pirate Alliance.
Notable systems are: TVN-FM, AZBR..., T-GCGL, and about a dozen more systems with at least 10 - 15 belts per system. There is currently only about 10% of the bistot mined in that region.
