I would like to purchase Catgirl's corpses. She is market greifing the Kor-azor region, marking up trade goods needed for agent missions by an extreme amount.
I'll pay 50,000 isk per corps, and up to 10 corpses. Plz note that this is way more than the mark up, however I have plenty of isk and might as well use it to return the favor to a griefer.

You have plenty of ISK yet you offer the crappy sum of 50,000 ISK for her corpse?
Anyone able, and willing, to kill for money can make 50,000 ISK many times over in the time it will take to track her down and kill her.
Even if I stumbled upon her I'd not even bother to kill her for such a measly sum.
Better make a better offer or you'd have to kill her yourself I am sure.

"however I have plenty of isk ", "lI'll pay 50,000 isk per corps", lol. You must have since your so cheap in setting a decent bounty. I advice to go for the one corps with screenshots wich makes it 5 milj. And Catgirl honey, how about dinner with your head as meal for the split up?!

Edited by: Tituan on 19/10/2003 08:24:17 yes.. and paying more than 50,000 isk means that catgirl could kill herself repeatedly while recloning her self and still make a profit of the corpses, if were to sell them with an alt or something. Thus I get griefed two fold, yes great plan there.
This isn't some pirate going around killing newbs or anything, rather just someone buying up agent trade goods, and marking them up. Just an easy 50k if someone ran into this character whom is exploiting the agent/market game mechanics.

As far as I know marking up trade goods is not exploiting. Why should it be? If you don't like the prize fly somewhere else and buy at a lower price.
But I guess you are lazy and can't be arsed to move around.

As I understand it everytime you do a agent mission that requires you to purchase the material from the market and deliver it to x destination. That material spawns at a certain station and put up on the market for a certain price. (I'm not talking bout the normal trading goods that spawn at server boot, I'm talking bout the agent mission trade goods.) This is targeted at people doing agent missions, and while just a very small inconveniance to me, it would of dampened the day of someone just starting out.
Now this individual, Catgirl buts up a big buy order so that as soon as you accept that mission she buys up the trade good. So now the only options you have is pay her a hefty price, go regions out of your way to find it somewhere else, or fail the mission. I'm sorry but I think in situations like these its xploiting game mechanics; much like the superconductor scandels for the implant missions.
I'm sorry that most don't think that 50,000 is enough to bother hunting them down for, well it isn't. However is you seem em flying through you could pick up some real easy money. I'm not gonna place a bounty that high on someone whom costed me 10 or 15k. If someone podded me or something I'ld put bounties for 10 - 15 mil per corpse/screenshots.
As for being too lazy to search around, you're damn right I'm not going to look at 3 or 4 other regions just to find 30 damn units of weat.

I must agree, that this MARKET PIRACY must be stopped. I would contact Space Invaders. I hear that they are working hard as MARKET POLICE. But they can not be in every sector....

... '10 or 15k' is a 'hefty price' now?..

You are probably unaware of it, but most of the time you see someone fly through in empire space, it's within fire distance of the sentry guns. Meaning, anyone who'd like to collect that real easy 50k you offer, would have to pay the value of their ship. And even a missile frigate cost ~200k if you include the ammo and equipment. Am sure you can see why no one would be interested in it...

OMG ! hax0ring on the market? n00000!
Maybe once you turn 12 and collect enough pennies, you will find out your pokemon cards cost different at different places. Its known as 'supply and demand'.
P.S. Go back to mining some veldspar in your probe.

OMG its great comeing to these boards with all the great intellectuals sprouting off Carebear and "hey 12 year old." Better than springer.... love it.
I made a simple post with a bounty being offered thats all it was. Do I care if people decide not to do it? No thats their perogative, if its not worth it to them, then its not worth it. It was a simple business proposal, take it or leave it.

Very true. We are only explaining and telling you politly, not to make a foul out of yourself by putting such low bounty prices on anybody's head. Thats all.

You are very misinformed of how agent missions involving trade goods work. When you receive an agent mission no new trade goods are suddenly put on the market. All trade goods spawn at downtime, with different goods available in different regions. Agents seem to request a random trade good from all trade goods in existence, and this trade good may or may not be on the market in your region. These people who are marking up the trade goods are doing you a FAVOR by giving you the option of paying more money and not having to travel to multiple regions to find the trade good you are looking for.

If that is the case then I apologize. Someone had told me differently. I retract my bounty, and am sorry for damaging Catgirl's rep from this thread. I was wrong.
