Just about every time I log on these days, I see asteroid belts stripped of the better ores, and the place litered with scroes of jet-cans. Enough is enough! It's time to limit everyone to one, AND ONLY ONE, jetison cargo pods at a time. If you put out a second jet-can, without hauling the first to a station, then the first one blows up and everything in it is lost! This solution might inconvenient the legit miners just a little bit, but it will make macro miners work a lot harder to strip asteroid fields bare!

damn.. u're right.
I'm soo damn tired of NPC'ers aswell, that dont even care to pick up the loot! Lets make it mandatory to pick up loot, and if u dont, u wont be able to warp away from the belt... sounds good and logical right?
please stfu

Jet cans do blow up after 1-2 hours. It's anchored cans you're seeing, and most have them have probably not been used for months.
They should be lifed too, and destruct after a month of no use IMO.

Considering your using an alt, I think you probably do the same and are just ticked off cus someones moved on ur mining patch recently and is stripping it faster then you.

When there are more cans than roids, there's something wrong with the picture. =)

No, that's a secure can. CCP just need to blow all of those which haven't been touched for 1 year up. Boom, 95%+ of them gone.

Anyone wanting to see secure anchored cans abused in a HUGE way should go to the ice belt in Chanoun. If you don't disconnect from the lag you will see HUNDREDS of them. It's really insane. Makes the whole belt virtually unusable...

every 30 days the cans should be impounded by concord. the owner will get an EVE mail to visit a Concord or faction navy station and pay the fine and get their cans back say 500k per can to get it back.

Yeah, I have a couple cans with Spike and Void sitting out there that I lost track of. Was picking up and moving operations and I got swamped at work and home and totally forgot where I left it :/

Not everyone is into PvP. One man can do what he want to do.
To the OP, I like the system as it is now.
