how to maintain its "soloing" ability while still being able to involve at least one other person to help you without it reducing your isk per hour. Co-op doesnt necessarily mean that you need to be on grid together, it can also mean sharing a responsibility together about managing a very clear and simple goal, such as defence.
idea: a new mission type where you defend something from the NPC enemy forces (it escalates throughout the day). you can schedule taking turns defending the site with your buddy so that it doesnt die (if you dont keep the place alive you wont have access to the escalations), to handle an escalation you need help of your buddy and there is an increased boost of isk per hour for all parties that are on grid with you during the escalation (there can even be escalations which can be shared with 2-6 people if you had that many buddies available to jump in). Normally the isk per hour for staying on grid is average depending on how good your applied dps is (if your ship is heavily tanked and your dps sucks you will receive less isk per hour because some of the NPC's that warp in will reduce your isk per hour if they survive longer than the initial 1-2 minutes on grid). Both you and your buddy can each accept your own missions but then you risk having to abandon one of them so that you can help your buddy. If you give up on you mission not only do you risk losing standings with your agent but you also get a very average isk per hour for the time spent waiting for the escalation opportunity.
potential benefits: - a very well tanked ship can literally afk and chill on grid with NPC's as long as its not an escalation. a lot of missioners will appreciate this ability because of real life responsibilities. - will heighten the need for missioners to find a corporation, which in turn will lead to more pvp and more corp activities. - mobile structures could potentially be placed around the arena that you can use to your advantage depending on what you are fighting and when you are afk'ing. as well as in-space reshipping potential if you suddenly decide to do maximum dps (max dps mean you can alpha certain npc ships which drain your isk per hour if they are not killed in the first 1-2 minutes of their arrival) - mining or exploration opportunities for your corp mates during the escalations (as opposed to helping provide dps) - its good taking out certain enemy ships within a limited amount of time (before they accomplish their objective). This is why having a high dps ship will be good in certain situations (as opposed to chilling on grid in a heavily tanked ship afk'ing a lot of the time).
defence also means: - taking smart positions within the arena during different escalations - baiting enemy into a trap in order to overcome unfair odds (using the terrain to your advantage) - being able to call for backup when things start getting out of control, you have failed to accomplish certain objectives which takes its toll (some of the objectives might have a deadtline/timer) |

Missions just need more randomness and less clutter NPCs. Should have to fight a few strong ones more often than a horde of weaklings. And NPC EWAR is absurdly strong.
Fit a warfare link to your tech 1 battlecruiser. Train Wing Commander. Get in the Squad Commander or Wing Commander position. Your fleets will be superior to everyone else's. (had this sig BEFORE Odyssey BC rebalance)

also would be great with less "steps" if you want to be able to go from one mission to the other I really dont want to micro manage every little warp to and from the agent, would be great with an autopilot of some sort for those warps, and ability to pre-negotiate the next mission with the agent while you are on autopilot back to the station from the old one |

Basically what Celthric Kanerian said.
What prevents me from going in, in my 1010 DPS Vargur with it's 1500 dps Bastion-reinforced perma-tank and just sit there, farming permanently?
This whole thing just reeks of "I want to earn money but i don't want to do stuff for it."
You should just become a station trader :p |

with some coordination you can already blitz missions in less than half the time with a friend.
But if thats not enough you could ask for an EHP and active tank buff for rats. That will tip things in favor of group mission runners.

No, you don't, people's point here is that this idea would not be an isk faucet, or fountain, but that it would be an isk geyser that would be virtually afkable conten that people would find a way to take to the extremet. It's already very easy to make isk in highsec, so much so that I have a character (this one) dedicated to making isk in high to help my nullsec foolishness. |
