I am so angry because of the new font! The readability is just so bad because it doesn't look like spaceship or scifi font!!! instead of that It looks much more like the ugly microsoft arial font which also was the default font of powerpoint which makes it super lame (because of the all bad and terrible presentations). And thanks to all the visually disabled whiners now we (normal people) have to suffer the font!

While I don't think its unreadable (namely because I'm not using a laptop screen) it is ugly as sin and is a sad detraction from an otherwise sterling patch

I am using a notebook screen.
13.1" at 1366x768.
I've scaled to 90%.
I had to resize the context menu font ... up.
Bingo, it's perfect !
I really have no idea what kind of problems you have with the font,
but it seems the error is rather on your own side.
If you like it or not ... that's not an actual issue. |

If the op of that link was all that was done it would be perfect. But ccp is know for missing the mark. Maybe eve would be better if they leave more things alone. |

Readability: Improved without a shred of a doubt
Appearance: no... not sci fi, but definately not arial and certainly not bad
Trolls: Go back to world of warcraft where you belong... Space trolls are just fiction :D
I'd say it's definately better. Any other professional graphic designers here that agree :P |

New font looks huge on any screen 30" or more. Like it was made for the elderly. Changed the UI scaling, and now the letters merge with other characters and such, makes it harder to read then the old font. Not to mention everything else is now smaller too such as icons on the overview. |

I can choose which ship I fly, I can choose where to fly it, I can choose how to layout my windows and what color they are, I can choose to use hangar or CQ.
I can't choose what font I'll be looking at every single minute I spend in eve. |

Fortunately my clients think about that in a different way... And... have you studied typography? Or do you simply have a problem setting up your preferences in Eve. Or maybe...... you have an EGA monitor from the year oogabooga.
It's just fine if you just set it to a comfortable size. Really... you should try doing that before you attempt to utter a sentence. |
