After a long battle and making billions of isk - the wonderful and wholesome people of The Church of Awesome would like to announce that Rakapas has been liberated from the hands of the filthy scumbag Gallente.
We currently have our Fedos cleaning the poo and used condoms from the floor that has built up during the Gallente occupation of Rakapas and expect the job to be complete after downtime tomorrow night.
I would also like to thank Black Fox Marauders for giving up so easily.
The Church of Awesome extends special thanks our bestest AU TZ buddyette Renee Chanlin for bringing fleets for fights (well tbh - to die horribly to us over and over and over again - but hey she tried which is more than I can say for Black Fox.)
I would also like to thank XGal for trying to keep his pet fox in Rakapas to spend more days dplexing it when we sleep - with lines like:
'Make sure SS is still in FW. They left after downtime today.'
Shame they were too demoralized XGal. Hopefully you find new pets that will not be as lazy and as easy for a few extremely good looking and drunk Aussies to push around.
Galmil - below is where you may type your lies, excuses about how you left/didn't want that system anyway, propaganda, tears and general sperg (so basically - just pretend this is local and type the usual stuff you type).
Don't hold back now.

I'm surprised to see a large alliance like Bebop lose to a small alliance like yours so easily. But I heard you guys used to give Gallente headaches when you lived in Enaluri because of your timezone presence. Congrats. Maybe this will be the start of the Caldari comeback?

Ahhh.. Mixed feelings on this one...
I was part of GalMil when Rakapas was taken. Now I am on the other side of the fence.

Your 1st attempt to break the hub was full of win. It's amazing how many Squids stare with wonder, frozen by fear! by barely a squad of Cormorants. Slightly less amazing how long, and how many times, Rak was vulnerable.

Oh good, we hoped you'd take us up on our invitation to move in. Glad it wasn't in vain.
Of course, you're on the opposite end of the warzone, but we'll see.
It does look that CalMil is waking up and doing what they can to reclaim those areas we've left empty for them to move back into. The real question is... what happens when the easy gains are gone? Once you've got the northwest and northeast secured, will the Militia have the stones to take on the tough task of actually pushing areas we care about... or will we see another failcascade internal civil war?
I wonder if CalMil would rally to The Church of Awesome's aid if we decided to push Rakapas, or if they'd leave you high and dry again like they did in Enaluri?
Don't worry though - we'll give you enough time to move in properly and redecorate before we give you any real trouble. It'd be the neighborly thing to do after what we did to you in Enaluri.

Man, you're playing the "we let you in" card a little too hard. Does anyone believe it besides your corp mates? On one side you have guys complaining about Caldari not pushing systems, and there being no fights. Then Caldari push and flip systems and the Gallente are nowhere to be seen, hiding in their fortresses saying "we didn't want that one anyway".
If a system wasn't defended it reflects poorly on the Gallente, not the Caldari. Especially if you knew the system was being targeted and you had time to respond. My understanding of FW is one side attacks a system and the other tries to defend it, that is where the fights come from. Perhaps I am wrong in this? |

Merry Christmas, Cal Mil.
We began pulling out of Rakapas about 3 weeks ago. After months of fun fighting with both the pirates and Caldari things got stale, and with the addition of HONOR. we decided it was time to move on. I hope you take care of Rakapas now that we are gone, and who knows one day we might come back when the time is right!
I was honestly a tad surprised how long it took to flip, even after we stopped D-plexing and moved out. Even after a Gal Mil wide mail I expected a little more haste. Will miss the fights with Okka and Asakai Caldari as well as all the local faces like FESTA, BLJS, and our most wonderful guests PLEX alliance.

The system was defended man. Most of them evaced from around the 16th as their corp participation had dropped of due to the boredom of constant dplexing. They were still lighting cynos yesterday morning my time and likely still are while i type this.
When their CEO told them to get assets out of Rakapas the word he used was 'Evacuate' - not lets 'move'.

Well Christmas lunch is over for another year.
Raspberries were in season this time round in Australia, so my good lady and I decided to use those as a theme for our vitals this year.
The inspirational choice of Chambord went into some part of each course and happily there's enough left over to share with my Gallente brosefs.

We moved to Amarr space. There are still few guys in Heydieles. And they definitely think that you are plexing Heyd while they sleep :) |

To spoil your fun:
The internal mails between Galmil are dated the 15//12/14 stating evac is 7 days. (So 22/12/14)
So that's 2 days. Not 'long ago' as you claim.
Many Gals still dplexing on the 22nd and 23rd (They dplexed over 10% on 23rd so active defence was still going on)
Nice try however.

Yes can you please send me some of my mails, and spell check them for me also. I am told i have awful spelling and grammer. I don't really remember sending any mails about how we are pulling out of Rakapas in a panic. Are you sure you are not misreading the ones about how we are leaving it for you as a pitty flip?
Xg is going to be very mad at me when he comes back and notices we no longer own Rakapas. I hope he shows mercy towards me for my failures!
