That aint so bad, I have to turn of norton when i want to play counterstrike because it thinks its an active trojan and stops it from running!

Sorry to rep;y to a necro but this needs clarification
EVEMon from battleclinic.com does not have a virus. The NSIS installer can trigger an alert in some scanners - this is a well known and well docuimented issue. The microsoft redistributables are also clean - IF YOU GET THEM FROM BATTLECLININC.COM
I cannot vouch for any copies of EVEMon hosted elsewhere other than batteclinic.
If you are still unsure, then (1) Build evemon yourself from source (2) Download the redistributables directly from microsoft if you need them.

Seriously, besides nod32, I can't think of a single decent paid av out there. If by chance you were talking about norton or mcafee, replace this entire post with a 300 letter long stream of "ha ha's".

Even if Evemon's creators had mal intent, they certainly wouldn't implement a default virus/trojan but instead just write a small piece of code to capture your eve password or whatever. Making a small trojan isn't hard.
That having said, I doubt they ever would.
