I'm curious, seeing this thread , what happens in the background? what are those daily 1hr made for, on a supercomputing-clusterific-powercomputer? database repair? what do the ccp worker do at that time, why is sometimes dt longer and sometimes shorter?
please include words like "blades" "cluster" and plenty of acronyms in the reply, we're between geeks after all :p

maybe they just rest for an hour, who can prove there is a 3d engine and not just a real time video of actors moving ship muppets?
