So, the first time I've flown an interdictor was tonight. And bubbles don't get on killmails. I probably should have known that, or guessed, and Im sure a lot of you already know.
As much as I dislike posting killmails, I've been forced to nowadays, and it seems a little unfair on the poor dictor pilots. Put dictor pilots' bubbles on killmails! If that means putting normal bubbles anchorers on killmails too, so be it. It's only fair!

just shoot a bit yourself or ECM/dampen/web since you are in range of the ship anyway when dropping the bubble.

Poor dictor pilot should drop the bubble, mwd 20km out, take 2-3 pot shots at hostiles and warp out ;p It ensures you get what you deserve (ie: killmail ;p)

Hello.
My skillpoints gives my gang locking-speed bonus.
And as a 'thank you' those darn interceptors locks, kills and pods shuttles way before my BS has gotten a lock.
I demand to be put on the killmails.

I've been saying that for ages. However, in the world of killboards that we live in, it just seems unfair on the poor interdictor pilots, being as they essentially generate the kill whereas without them there would be none :/

CCP should introduce another stat like the sec status but instead for rats for player kills.
Every ship is depending on size/class worth more or less. Relation between all ships in your gang worth (or your ships worth if solo) vs killed target determines the boost you get.
Like 10 ship gang worth total 20.000 points kills a 200 point t1 frig -> everyone gets 0.01 points. You in inty kill BS (each worth 2k points (BS hits harder, inty is harder to catch and t2) -> you get 1 point.
You could add the pilot to the calculation, too. So destroying the ship of someone who has a high rating gives you a bigger boost than that of someone at the bottum of the food pyramid.

Dropping a warp disrupt probe should count as an act of aggression.
IF that change is made [ which imo it should be ]
then you can get on the killmail, as well as every other ship that is killed within the field of effect that the probe has, both hostile and friendly.

Same can be argued for covert ops ships, and to a lesser degree command ships...

Do what I do....put some Target Painters and Sensor Damps in the mids (or even ECM). Not only do you get on the killmails, but your gangmates get some much needed support

how are you forced to post killmails?
personally, i think you should be thankful your stats aren't being posted for everyone to see.
killboards are the biggest intel provider since local. be glad everyone and their dog doesn't know what you're flying and where.

fly action-dictorÖ and engage the targets too. you can start popping enemy tacklers, web the target, scram the ones that get out of the bubble and an extra ~190dps from a sabre can be useful too. ofcourse all depending on gang size, if you get targeted etc. you need to have a feel for the situation, estimate if you can stick around or if you will get instapwned in your paper plated ship with uber sig radius. you also have to think of the gang. if you're close to home space and can jump into a new one fast if you get popped or if you're the only dictor in a big gang on a roam and your bubbles are crucial for catching stuff.
action-dictorÖ means more losses ofc, but more fun.

Dictors are cheap nowadays that it is possible to use em instead of ceptors - you just need to get used to bigger sig and weaker guns (on heretic anyways).
I always fight in my dictor usually warping off when there are too many blinking red targets on OW.
Only situation in which i drop bubble and warp away is fleet combat, when fighting snipers. If our BS are engaged ill stay and fight alongside other smaller ships.
Dictors STILL pack quite a punch and they arent that easy to spot in the middle of enemy fleet.

remove killmails, make a universal killboard. Just ship kills to ship deaths, with a killmail describing each kill. I am sure if ccp asks for volunteers to make it, people will make an awesome killboard.

I fly a dictor i get on kill mails just fine. Not that i aim to oc but i use mine to engage rather than just drop a bubble.
