Today, after close to 2 weeks of having a friends corp wardec'd by a 2 man corp that has never logged in except to renew the wardec, they received a reply back from their petition asking to have the war invalidated because it's clearly a greifing tactic. These said players fly incursions as were harassed by a set of players then wardec'd.

CCP's response, which is now documented in the form of petition states that this, after review with senior GM's is not a violation and is acceptable.

So, effective sometime Friday in a random timezone, I will be wardec'ing random people I see running Incursions. I will be hostile using Blackbirds to jam logistics with the intent to disrupt people playing. I will also be doing this because I'm a PVP'er and just want the kills as well.

If you make a living in this game from Incursions, please find a secondary line of work.

I strongly suggest that you petition CCP for every death and say that this game mechanic is either a) lovely, or b) considered greifing. Now I'm not going to be griefing here because I intent to kill everything I see. I'm not wardec 'ing for the purposed of never logging in but rather to hurt those that fly incursions.

Alternatively, you can always just fly with people who are wardec'ed and take your chances.

I expect to die, but expect to see yourselves in lots of incursion pain...

BTW, CCP, if you want a copy of the petition and would like to rethink the strategy, let me know. It should be also noted that my intent is to use this wardec to destroy targets on the field, which I think is pretty much what the wardec mechanics are for. Can you please clarify this?

It's not a watchlist thing. It's a no one wants them in the incursion fleets because they're wardeced thing. We've watched for a time to hope to PVP'em but they never log in. Thus the petition was about working the game mechanics.

If you wardec and never log in it should be invalidated.

One problem - a corp can only have three outgoing decs at once. Unless you're in an alliance, which you don't seem to be based on the forum information underneath your picture, you'll be unable to do much of any significance.

I almost made a mistake. I'm glad I caught myself. I asked who to wardec in the incursion channel and started the process then noticed that they were flying Machariels. That would have defeated the purposed of coming onto the field. Now after spending a few hours thinking about it and seeing proposed targets, I'm going after logi's only. After all, a good set of ECM's against them will kill all the targets I'm looking for.

Armed with this I can now actually be more effective since I can target my blackbirds to very specific racial targets of the day. I'm thinking shields this weekend.

Now, I'm going to be upfront and tell you that I will not be targeting any of Cozmic Cowboys guys, only because the first incursion that I flew was with him. I think it was about 8 hours after the patch. Man that was a bloody day. This was long before the time of jackelwobs wardeccing for the purpose of greifing and long before the concept of farming the incursions came to be.

Anyway, that's a side note. One of my buddies asked why I'd waste 2m isk per corp for the Dec on this toon and I said why not. It will strip their ability to make ISK. Anyway, I'm looking for the free kills and will be recruiting this weekend for corp pop in's. I will post once the wars are started for those that was to assist in the carnage.

Anyway, back to planning.

I like how you think you can solo gank incursion runners... Let alone be successful in this.
