RISE is an old alliance and a new alliance all in one. Most entities in RISE have a long history in EVE and been a part of 2 of the largest and oldest alliances in EVE. However it was decided a new start was needed for those 2 alliances since over time they got a bit like grumpy old men.
That new start was RISE.
To be able to know each other better it was decided that Outer Ring should be called our home to start with. However during our forming YouWhat had lost Cloud Ring to goons and D2 and assorted neighbours were in the middle of the struggle to take it back. RISE helped out to fight with what we thought was our brothers in YouWhat. The d2 war machine finally liberated Cloud Ring.
When the dust had settled the question was asked, who should be the caretakers of Cloud Ring. RISE got the opportunity to do this. Most of us had just barely moved in to OR and other logistical moves had/had yet to be done.
RISE recognized that Cloud Ring had a long history or rather alot of entities had a long history in Cloud Ring. All corps and pilots having star bases and presence in Cloud Ring prior to RISE assuming control were given a chance to stay in Cloud Ring. Standings were set accordingly. YouWhat were given docking rights, full mining access and access to the complex. What merely changed was the name of the stations. In return a mutual defence pact was agreed upon if Cloud Ring would once again come under attack.
At this time Outbreak was bored down in Fountain fighting BoB and was looking for new hunting grounds. A pilot within the RISE ranks made several remarks to Outbreak pilots of a smack'ish nature. Outbreak decided that RISE would be a good target. They moved into Outer Ring. A number of superbly fun fleet fights followed and both RISE and TOXIN had a smack free and fun experience. Even if RISE were often on the losing side we were improving and even sometimes we got the luxury of looting cans. Kudos to Outbreak, the battles have been fun.
This however resulted in RISE relocating alot of assets to fight Outbreak in Outer Ring. When we were full occupied with toxin, Youwhat decided to backstab us. They made an official announcement just minutes prior to attacking XZH and RISE still had YouWhat at blue.
This is the history what the future holds no one knows...

correct char..
yep my intention was to describe the history in a less bias way i could still being part of the conflict.
the fact still was d2 warned us that youwhat were to attack us. this was however not in official way rather it was told by old friends to a ceo of a rise corp. we were not to act upon rumours. we however confronted wildcard and he again said that youwhat was not to attack and that the presense in CR was for common defense. we therefore considered the matter closed after this.
however vaches harsh words are just the thing i was trying to avoid by posting in the first place..

D2 left cloud ring. you what was formed since a few corps didnt want to leave CR. You what screwed up by not even fueling their pos:s and they lost sov. to goons. d2 rise and hell of alot of other alliances had to bail out youwhat adn kick goons out. after that Rise were asked to caretake CR youwhat didnt speak up at that time. of course rise would have thought twice if youwhat had claimed CR at that time. youwhat knew they screwed up and sat silent. they even pledge common defense pact with RISE to aid in the defense.
a few weeks down the line romours stir up that youwhat arnt happy about RISE. RISE contacts youwhat again. youwhat again swear to commonly defend CR. a few weeks down the line again we are happily fighting toxins and youwhat see the chance to "reclaim" CR. a few rise pilots stumbles upon a thread on eve-o saying youwhat will now have nbsi.. abit cryptic way of sayign we war dec RISE. 10minutes later youwhat has a fleet at our doorstep..
where is the honour in this?

yep what i was trying to achieve abit of drama.. recently eve-o been abit booring think whole eve is getting boring due to lack of real content realesed for ages.. bugs, asian cluster, german client, cues.. way to go ccp..
tried to do a less bias report as possible what has been going down in CR recently to have you guys something to read.. the amount of non flames proves i wasnt that far of apart from a few details here and there.. remember it is how view it, it might not be correct on all accounts i cant after all be everywhere 23/7 =)
