There is no guarantee they are macro miners and there is no way to detect if they are (assuming they have at least one person monitoring the screen(s)). CCP can't ban people for having weird names or mining a lot. The only thing CCP can do is monitor them and catch them selling isk. You can, of course, steal their ore, annoy them or blow them up.

Sad but true... but in this case, there is one person or whatever it is that does monitor that group. After several losses on their side that said person tried to contact one of us (and he is the ONLY one that attempts to speak no matter which one out of that group you blow up/bump/steal from) He attempted to use babelfish to translate chinese to english but failed horribly and we couldn't understand him. So blowing up kept going untill they moved on from our system... Do excuse my french but... WAKE THE F#$% UP CCP!!!! EDIT: P.S. If anyone needs chatlogs mailed to them let me know... Guranteed laugh for ours

Once one person starts to steal ore, they will pack up and move within the hour. Seriously you could find at least 1 more macro within 5 jumps of Tierijev. That is how many there are.

Not that I expect you to know this, or anything. If you were worth the time, I'd dig up the post where Ovuer puts Bhaal in his place for ***ing about Macrominers, but you'd just ignore it crying that thinks petitions are worthless. If you don't petition, then don't *** about nothing being done, and don't make the mistake of thinking that just because you petition someone, they're going to be banned for macro mining. It's hard for CCP to ban someone for being a 'macro' when there's someone sitting at those 6-10 accounts. Massive multi-accounting isn't illegal, and if you think it's easy to just prove someone is farming isk to sell, then you've never worked on any online game, ever. They should prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the person is breaking the game rules. Let's forget the name and the fact the person doesn't speak English. Prove that they are using an illegal program to play the game. #2. Prove that CCP is doing absolutely nothing to stop these people from doing what they are doing. #3. Prove that this actually effects you in some way. Because half of the whining about macro miners seems to come from people who either don't care to help CCP deal with it. Remember people that it is not against the rules to have a stupid name or 10 accounts full of stupid names for the sole purpose of strip mining a system. Almost popped one of his barges that re-flipped my can, until it did that silly ninja log-off/disappear trick.. Had quite a few blocks of ice too, pity I didn't have a hauler nearby.. But being able to pop the barge would have made up for it..

For about a week or so, they were driving me nuts in Halaima, until I gave up on trying to chase them out of the system and moved on back to running agent missions. My point is this: unless they're actually affecting you in some demonstratable manner, what good is it to whine about them?! Just go somewhere else: it's not like you have a tracer beacon on your hull that they're constantly following. Or even better: try to out-mine them. Get a group of people together, and mine the **** out of those asteroid fields before the macro'ers can get to the fields. There are so many ways for people to wage war on macroers, not all of which have been considered. Go think on the matter and come up with an ingenious idea to get back at them. Any quick Google search will tech you the process.

No one would care about banning them if it weren't for the macro miners so all the other reasons are just justifying the ends. But the point that everyone seems to ignore is simply thing; Farmers are doing nothing wrong. So someone tell me why should CCP ban them? There is nothing in the rules outlawing having 10 accounts dedicated to mining. There is one outlawing the use of 3rd programs to play the game but the majority of farmers are not actually using them. So again I ask, what should CCP ban them for? Bad intentions?
