Not to take away from the you lose nature of the thread, but I had severe problems with combat and my system deciding to reboot. If you haven't try killing the sound. I've been wonderously stable ever since I killed the sound.

This has been my decidng factor to actively avoid PVP.
My connection is absolutely fine, however, server side issues create massive lag whilst in missions, resulting in hundreds of millions of isk, not to mention time wasted, in rebuilding ships.
I understand the "don't fly what you can't afford to loose" philosophy, but considering I've got the skills and am dying through no fault of my own, I'd say you need to actually use your brain before typing that response yet again. It's not the answer to everything.
The fact is that server node drobs and connection instability are part of any internet game, this is true, BUT I pay money to play a game. Therefore I expect that game to work. I don't recall Cold War having as many technical issues!
Full support for ya man, CCP fix it PLEASE!

I think as long as there is no way to prove that an eve bug was a reason for the crash, you will have bad luck.
If you get reimbursed, because of a client crash for an unknown reason, then people will 'magically' let their client crash, when they need it.
"Omg, my dread is almost down ... crash ... thanks GMs."
That's why I only support reimbursement, if you lost something because of a server problem. Players can't fake problems on the server.

I was having the same problem with disconnects and instead of complaining about it and taking like people have said, "a ship i couldnt afford to lose out" I went to figure it out. Turns out my roommate was being stupid and running multiple bittorent sessions at once.

they probably won't do anything. mmo companies in general rarely help out the customer for stuff like this. the game didn't screw up, or their servers didn't screw up, the database didn't screw up. your connection did. and honestly you were stupid to try to pvp with it with all the disconnects you've had.

OK, let's break it down to bullet points:
-Router ping = 0.23 seconds to sites globally
-Wireless network ping = .02 seconds to router
-Full node drop (everyone in system D/C'd at the same time)
I admit I haven't ventured into PVP land, but mainly due to this.
What more you want me to say here? Other than "See spot run" is a great book in case you need to brush up on your reading skills.

I find that I only crash after grumbling about something e.g. drone bugs or when I speak ill of Caldari. Moral of the story... Think happy thoughts.
